Bio Photo Live in Eastern Mass. Looking for gravestones from places as varied as New England, New York, Pittsburgh, PA, New Jersey, Ohio, Louisville and Glasgow, KY.

My two family history blogs can be found at From Maine to Kentucky and A Jewish Genealogy Journey.

I enjoy photographing tombstones in Jewish cemeteries. For help in reading Hebrew, I suggest JewishGen's Reading Hebrew Tombstones at http://www.jewishgen.org/InfoFiles/tombstones.html.

Rapkin gravesite photograph
Whatever possessed you to post a photograph of the gravestone for Minnie & Sam Rapkin?
I absolutely fell out of my chair. I had been noodling around Wikipedia and reading about various Boston suburbs. That somehow led me to JCAM's page, I saw & clicked the FindAGrave button, and then entered my great-grandparents' surname in the search box on a lark. Around 20 years or so ago, I found their gravesite on my own, and it was a major effort: pre-web, pre-smartphone, & pre-GPS, and I've lived all my life in Southern California. So I just fell out of my chair when I saw this photograph.

Thank you so much for my great aunt's graves. Yes Sadie is definitely in there. I also forgot to request a photo of my great uncle's grave. His name is Earle Purvis "Jim" Wade. I just put in a photo request for his grave.

Also I don't know if you are on Ancestry. Here's a link to Sadie's info.
