RE: Perkins in Johnsville
Barry

I've been tracing all the descendants - male and female - of a Captain Henry Hunter of Bristol, Maine, right down to the present. Edward Warren Perkins was a great-grandson, the only surviving child of Margaret More (Hunter) Perkins.

I notice several contributors on ancestry have suggested Edward's father, John Warren Perkins, died after 1910, but haven't found anyone with the date yet. His obituary, with a nice write-up says he died in New Rochelle, N.Y., 30 Oct 1911. I can send it to you if you like (and send your snail or e-mail address) or can send a link to it (the obit) on-line.

Are you related?

Brethren cemetery
Barry -
Glad to help with the headstone photos. I didn't help with the remounting and cleaning of the headstones - that was a project started in 2011 by friends of the cemetery, and continues to this day. Due to a foot injury in 2012 I'm only now getting out to some of the rural cemeteries to work on getting photos. Brethren-Dunkard was near the top of my list for this summer. I need to go back out this weekend to spot some headstones that I missed the past few days, but otherwise most everyone with known headstones will be accounted for.

Hi Barry,

Many thanks for the great Hocking/Champion headstone photos you added !!! I'm going to copy them to my family tree, as well as send the Hocking ones to my cousin Bill Hocking in Sacramento - he'll be delighted.

Jeff :)

Thank you for the message Barry. I don't believe I am kin to her, but left the flowers because she was an Oates. I try to visit all Oates graves on Find a Grave. The new pics are great. Thanks again for your message and your work here.

Sincerely, Vickie

RE: Leife Farmer
Many thanks Barry for the informative note - really appreciate you getting back with me and for the updates on Life's first two wives.

As I'm not related to the family, everything I have on Life Farmer is on his memorial that I maintain in the Cloverdale Cemetery - memorial 16226995.

When you have a chance, please take a look. Then I'll be eager to hear what you might find on your home computer.

In the meantime, enjoy safe travels!

Kathleen
