Bio and Links
Bio Photo We have been researching our family for about 30 years and have traveled to several states for genealogy. Many of our memorials are for "extended" family members, but others are not. We hope someone finds the information we post helpful in their own research.

Except for those photos listed within our *Posted with Permission* virtual cem, every tombstone or cemetery photo we post was taken by us on the date indicated in the photo caption.

-- All contributor-posted photographs are intended for PERSONAL USE, unless stated otherwise. To comply with current Copyright Law, you SHOULD NOT post (and/or republish) any contributor's cemetery or tombstone photos elsewhere without permission.

-- As contributors retain the copyright on ALL photos that they have taken and posted, it is actually NOT acceptable to just indicate you took the photo from Find A Grave (since this site does not own the copyright to any of the contributor-posted photographs).

Regarding our cemetery and tombstone photographs, specifically...

-- We will allow most instances of unaltered OTHER USE, but with the added stipulation that you MUST provide a photo source citation (by referencing both "Find A Grave" [or] AND our profile name AND # in the Description) for any of our photographs taken from this website; for example, "Photo courtesy of Find A Grave Contributor: Law-Miller Roots (#47103448)".

-- Note that you can provide a link back to the Find A Grave memorial, instead of copying (i.e. Ancestry's built-in "weblinks" function can be used for this exact purpose). This option works quite well.

-- Please do not download and then republish any family portraits we post, as these come from private family collections. Some of these photos still enjoy copyright protection and are NOT in the public domain.

NOTE: If we've submitted a memorial that you want to make corrections to, or if you would like a memorial transferred (and we're not also related in some way) let us know via the Edit Tab and we'll take care of it asap.

RE: Re: Jacob & Catherine Miller
Thank you for the quick response. When you talk to your son, I would be curious to find out how he determined Catherine's maiden name. I have not been able to find any documentation with her maiden name.

Jacob & Catharine Miller
I am a descendant of Jacob and Catherine Miller. The children listed on this site are not the same as what is recorded in court documents to settle Jacob's estate after his death. The court documents states they had 11 children. Jacob, John, Bernard, Elizabeth, Catharine, Susan, Mary, Eve, Sarah, Ann & Frederick.

Alice Ann Slater Walmsley #130325278
Alice was the mother of my great-grand-step-father William Walmsley. After being widowed she moved from Blackbourn Lancashire England to London Ontario in 1904 with her daughter Lillian Walmsley (Short). She relocated with her daughter's family to Lorain Ohio in circa 1922. This is my Ancestry page on her
William Walmsley married Florence Faulkner in 1917 after her husband died in WW1.

Do you have a e-mail address that I can use instead of communicating this way...Since this is so public I would rather e-mail you directly or talk on the phone. our number is in the book, we still live on West Street. I have some pictures I found and have no idea who they are and I can scan them and attach them to an e-mail...

Thanks for responding...
I am still going thru all the boxes of stuff I picked up from the Koba's...
I just found a Descendants of Woiczechowski dated 2009. wow your program must be very large.... I am so afraid I will loose information... I have already had one computer crash... I have way to many pictures on my computer.
I will give Ev's stuff to Amherst Historical, as I would not know how to find any of Ev's family. Although I can't imagine anyone would have the time to go thru all of her papers.
I have not been on for months. do you post pictures and such there or just research?
Are you keeping all your original research and pictures or are you just keeping the computer documentation. I am running out of room in our basement and need to be able to discard some stuff but have a hard time doing that....
thanks for your time
I do have 2 more grandchildren that were not in our 2009 update. do you want their info? Jacob will be the last of the Raesler men to pass on the name.

RE: Helen (Hull) Kirkpatrick #39566255
Hi again
I'm so sorry...I have not worked on any genealogy for a long time. My mom died on my grandson's birthday the 24th of January. My sister died on Jan 23... I'm sure I was confused or had a brain fart when I sent you a message to change the date.
thanks for not changing anything, or for making sure my mom's was the 24th.
I just recently acquired 4 boxes of information on the Raesler/Woiczkowski (changed to Wilker) that was from Evelyn Raesler (Robert Raesler's) wife. She had been researching her side and the Raesler's for years. I want to keep all the Raesler documents but don't have the need or space to keep Evelyn's side. do you know anyone who would want the Pelter (Evelyn's) boxes? I can't just pitch them knowing all the years and effort she put into gathering all the information. there must be someone who would want it but I have now idea who
thanks for your help
Peggy Raesler
PS Evelyn had Becky's date of birth wrong... should be 8/14/1970 not the 24th...
I was born in 1946 not 1943 FYI

You are very welcome for the photo. It was a beautiful day to be out roaming the countryside. If I can be of further help let me know.

I am just Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Muncy Valley, Pa there are two women listed as Magdelena Linn (Mary Magdelena36415504 & Magdelena36415750) one is married to Andrew Snyder and another to Jacob Dewald who are gggggrandparents of my wife.

My wife's maiden name is Snyder and her gmother was Dewald. I just was curious if the "Linn" maiden name was a typo or an extraordinary coincidence. Any light shed is a help.

Speaking of extraordinary, your contribution to "the cause" meets that definition; thank you for the incredible work!

RE: Otis Bahl #126433584 & Maude Bahl #126433899
Hi Marilyn,

I did see the draft registration, but that does not mean that he actually served. As I mentioned, his obit did not list any military.

Glad to fulfill your Plumb photo requests.

Albert Bahl #170658303
Albert Bahl is an unmarked grave confirmed by the cemetery records. I have posted a photo of his place of burial next to Emma Bahl.
