We have been researching our family for about 29 years and have traveled to several states for genealogy. Many of our memorials are for "extended" family members, but others are not. We hope someone finds the information we post helpful in their own research.|
Except for those photos listed within our *Posted with Permission* virtual cem, every tombstone or cemetery photo we post was taken by us on the date indicated in the photo caption.

OUR PHOTO POLICY:
-- All contributor-posted photographs are intended for PERSONAL USE, unless stated otherwise. As such, and to comply with current Copyright Law, you SHOULD NOT post (and/or republish) any contributor's cemetery or tombstone photos elsewhere without permission.
-- Regarding our cemetery and tombstone photographs, specifically... we will usually grant permission for unaltered OTHER USE when asked, but with the added stipulation that you provide a photo source citation (by referencing both "Find A Grave" [or www.findagrave.com] AND our profile name AND # in the Description) for any photographs taken from this website; for example, "Photo courtesy of Find A Grave Contributor: Law-Miller Roots (#47103448)".
-- As we retain the copyright on ALL photos that we have taken and posted, it is actually NOT acceptable to just indicate you took the photo from Find A Grave (since this site does not own the copyright to any of the contributor-posted photographs).
-- Note that you can provide a link back to the Find A Grave memorial, instead of copying (i.e. Ancestry's built-in "weblinks" function can be used for this exact purpose). This option works quite well.
-- Finally, Please do not download and then republish any family portraits we post, as these come from private family collections.

NOTE: If we've submitted a memorial that you want to make corrections to, or if you would like a memorial transferred (and we're not also related in some way) let us know via the Edit Tab and we'll take care of it asap.

Thank you so much for the time you spent on trying to photograph my family member. I am sorry I had incorrect information, I will change it on my end. Thanks again.
Thanks for the information on updates. I do all the mails and wasn't aware of this add.

I personally think that you should have shared the info with me and then let me make the decision to remove.
FYI That is what I will do if the shoe is on the other foot.

I am the National Chairman and Webmaster for www.508PIR.org, a website that honors all men of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment from 1942 to present day.
The 508th fought in four major campaigns during WWII beginning in Normandy on D-Day. Their outstanding record caused the unit to be chosen as General Eisenhower's Honor Guard at SHAEF HQ in Frankfurt, Germany after the war.
Mr. Peterson (Find A Grave Memorial# 23657539) was a member of the 508th during WWII and I would like to use your photos of his grave marker to be posted in our TAPS section including proper citation. Permission to do so would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you !or the excellent detective work. I have made the change.
By the way, are you by chance related to Bill Coppus?

I love the photos you posted.
Have an enjoyable trip.
Thanks for adding the photos for Tony and his wife. It's great for a Famous memorial to have marker photos. I really appreciate it.
