Although Sophia was married to Rev. John P. Shindel, both John & his second wife, Sarah, are buried in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg, Snyder Co. There are no memorials for John & Sarah in the cemetery but there is one for John & Sophia's son, John Young Shindel.

You are welcome. I thought it a bit odd that his wife was on the opposite side of the stone as well as the small marker that was beside it. I have family members also buried at Oregon Hill we were there to plant flowers so I was more than glad to snap a photo or two.
