|Diane Gravlee||Mintz Cemetery, Ocean Isle Beach, NC.|
John, I see you have done a great job of photographing some of the markers in the Ocean Isle Beach cemetery called Mintz Cemetery. My husband has two relatives buried there through his Sellers line. They are Henry David Mintz (d. 1863) and Nancy/Mary Sellers Mintz (his wife, also d. 1863). Can I assume that they no longer have legible markers since there are no grave photos on their memorials? We would like to visit this cemetery next week and photograph the markers if they exist.
Thanks for any help you can render.

Thanks for all the work you have done for our cemetery. Your help is invaluable. However I don't think Edwin Mintz is buried here, I have not been contacted for permission, and that would be necessary. Contact some member of his family for confirmation. His side of the Mintz were from Brunswick Co. They are related but not in my direct line.
Also please correct my brother's name in The Avis Brehmer Mintz list of children. His Name is James P. Mintz. There was also a second spouse:
Neal Jay Callihan (buried in the Peterson Cemetery,Byrdville, NC. Memorial # 135413430.
Thank you again.
PS A friend of mine said she thinks that when a parent of infants are moved the infant is moved along with the parent. This could explain the mystery of my Grandmother, Lydia A. Nelson Brehmer 's twin babies in Governor Cemetery. What is your opinion on this?
Marsha Mintz Williams

Thanks for writing back... I took the photo off... but I noticed something... his grandfather is James Q. Elkins, you have his memorial in your care. It caught my eye as he was " One of the Immortal 600" and a photo of his medal is on the memorial.
Would you please take a few moments to link these men together as family.... thanks :)

Mothers death is Apr. 9, 1914 and this baby is shown as Aug. 7, 1914. I can confirm mothers death but there is no record I can find on the baby. What do you have? TIA
