I will only make corrections, updates or consider transfers if your request is made on the edit tab of the memorial. |
if I am unable to verify your update, I may ask you for documentation.
I do not transfer my own family members. Taking into consideration that many people can be related, if you have a compelling need to have a memorial we are both related to, I will consider your request.
If I have a family member of yours, I am very happy to transfer to you, please use the edit tab and provide your member number.
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE DEATH CERTIFICATES ON MY MEMORIALS WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION.
These documents are mostly unreadable, unsightly and detract from the memorials. If you would like the information on the document included, please provide a text of the document by using the edit tab.
Please be kind and considerate. Remember we are all volunteers.

I can't thank you enough for all the work you have done to preserve the memories of those buried at Rose Hill. Most are related to me or had a connection with my Smith family.

Thank you for the transfer, though I must admit I was hoping you were related and perhaps I'd found a distant cousin.
|Janet K||RE: Roberta Jean Misner|
My husband would especially appreciate it.

Hello again Wendy,
I saw the newspaper clipping/obituary you posted on Doris Labadie's memorial which provides the parental info.

Please don't take offense at my question, but may I ask where you found/got the information for Margaret and Roberta Misner? The family was friends with my husband's family and my husband is still in touch, but didn't want to ask about them because the accident and the deaths are still a sensitive subject with the family.
Are you related?

Good to know about two other people requesting transfers for this child so I understand why you do not want to do a transfer. Thank you for letting me know. I do not think the requesters are relatives of the Frost family but maybe they are relatives through the biological connection. Sheryl was adopted at birth by my husband's parents, Harold and Dolores Frost. I just requested another edit because the "Illinois Deaths and Stillbirths Index 1916-1947" (official data) lists her middle name as Mae. And also lists her as 1 month 10 days old at her death. The name Mae is a family name, so that makes sense.

I would humbly request a transfer of this baby's memorial to my findagrave account. She is my husband's oldest sister and we recently found about her adoption by his parents, and then her death on October 11, 1945. I recently requested an edit to her memorial as the Illinois Death and Stillbirths Index 1916-1946 recorded her death date as October 11, 1945. Place of death - Sterling, Whiteside County, IL.

Sheryl Kae Frost
daughter of Harold and Dolores Frost (both now deceased)
Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request,
Esther S. Frost

Indeed there was no headstone for the Coders on the lot at Glenwood.
I always take a lot photo if there is no individual stone.
