Bio and Links
Bio Photo We would be glad to help you with adding information, but

YOU NEED TO USE THE EDIT TAB.

Due to the number of emails that we receive, we reserve the right to not respond to those who do not USE THE EDIT TAB per FAG guidelines. We do not add information from "Visitors" to FAG.

Per FAG policy, we have 30 days to make a correction/addition. Apparently the edits are not always linked with an email, but sit in the FAG edit file awaiting discovery. We try very hard to take care of these requests promptly.

We are not responsible for the 'half-sibling' notes on links or repetitious links. That is a database or submitter problem. If you do not understand why, please contact FAG.

TRANSFERS & CORRECTIONS-----Please follow the Find A Grave Guidelines for transfers and corrections and specify the relationship. "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren." Please use a Virtual Cemetery to collect your non-direct ancestors or special populations.

If you feel that you are somehow 'entitled' to our copyrighted work and pictures, do not be surprised that you will be held accountable. Each and every photo on this website is the copyrighted material of the person who took the photo (some may have been passed down or have been granted permission to post/use a photo) and usually posted it. Permission is usually granted when requested. This is not about sharing. The photos and pics are in fact, shared on this site. It is about the common courtesy to those that spend time, effort and money all at their own personal expense to help preserve American history.

We have met many wonderful people through FAG. Unfortunately, there have been a number of individuals who have been rude, who have not understood that we are volunteers, who have been otherwise abusive or who have been frankly bizarre and/or threatening. To that end, we will follow the FAG guidelines. It is about the hunt, not the numbers. But dealing with some of the FAG members and interlopers, we have learned to follow the guidelines.

Our family names/linages include:

ADAMS, BEHEN, BELL, BENNETTS, BICKERTON, BLYTHE, BULLOCK, BUTLER, CALLISON, CHAMNESS [CHAMLESS], COLEMAN, COCKRELL, CORDER, COONTZ, CROSS, DAVIS, DAY, DOUGHERTY, DUDLEY, DUNLIN, DUNN, FEASTER, FEHAN, GENTRY, GROSE, HENINGER, HUNGERFORD, JOHNSON, LAWRIE, LEMMONS, LORD, MARSHALL, MAXEY [MAXCY], MCCOWN, MONTGOMERY, MURRAY, NEEHAN, OVERTON, PRESLEY, RUTHVEN, SMOOT, SPLAWN, STANSBURY, [TATHAM, TATEM, TATUM], TAYLOR, TERRELL, THURMAN, TIPTON, WARD, WATERS, WEBSTER, WEINWRIGHT, VOTAW, WINSTON, WOOD, YOUNG AND ETC. We have been working on family genealogy for about 35 years. We have a great number of documents that were passed down the family lines.
Both of us have formal training in advanced, graduate level research.

I appreciate the help!
My first Cousin 1 x removed, Phillip August Albert Pagel Obit lists a sister we are unable to locate a death for. Birth record states Lizzie, for which we find a sister Elizabeth married to Andy Hendriksen in Phillip's 17 Dec 1962 Obt, along with sibs in the Perry area. Andrews wife Mae died in 1920, and is buried with Andrew, but we believe Andrew married Elizabeth before his death, thus Elizabeth became a Hendriksen, whom we are unable to locate or find anything on. Lizzie was born in Marathon County, Wisconsin and is listed in the 1940 Perry census Lizzie married to Andrew, with a son, Billy born about 1932. If you have any idea where she may be buried we would appreciate it.
Thanks, Earl Pagel

I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. L, 22nd NC Infantry. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of Robert C. Gray's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.

Thank you.

Maude Lee Mathis
The info you have posted for Maude Lee Mathis who is interred in Memorial Park Cemetery is incorrect. She was not the spouse of James Asberry Mathis. She was the spouse of Charles Lowe Mathis. The children listed are not correct. We received the obit yesterday with the belief that this was Maude Lee Boydstun Mathis, but the info in the obit shows she is absolutely the spouse of Charles Lowe Mathis. My friend's grandmother was Maude Lee Boydston Mathis. She died in Arkansas as Maude Lee Boydstun Edwards.
If you would like, we can submit the info we received on her obit. Thank you.

Seems to be mix-up with memorials your memorial is dated 2013 and the one by Ervin Mize # 60977227 dated 2010 are the same. Mullenax was married to my Great Aunt and I have much information to add. If possible could you and Ervin Mize get together on which memorial should be on Find A Grave? I have already added picture and a child connection...thanks in advance, Mike in Missouri
