|I'm a 65 year old former bookseller with a degree in history and a passion for genealogy. I've been at|
it off and on but became very active during the last seven years. My direct ancestors on my mothers side are :
On my dad's side, my ancestry goes back to colonial Massachusetts to the Mayflower and Great Migration ships.Most of the more recent lines come from ancestors who moved to Maine and New Hampshire after the Revolutionary War. These include
North of Boston (Middlesex and Essex County):
South of Boston(Plymouth County):
West of Boston(Worcester County):

I believe our lines cross at Sarah Dunham and Albert Gurney if I am not mistaken? Mary Ann Gurney(b.1839) is my Great Great Grandmother. I have many pictures of Gurney Headstones, just ask if you need any help at all!
