RE: Photos
Millie may have been Howard's grandmother. The next time I go to the library I'll see if they have the obit for her.

RE: Photos
Sir, I'm going to have to apologize to you about Bro. Askins's memorial. While taking the photos, I noticed that they had Rev. on his gravestone. You may want to put it like you had it before I asked you to change it. I'm sorry. I should have left that alone. I couldn't find a stone for Millie Askins, it does look as if the is a grave next to Howard & Jessie's. Is Millie their daughter? I'll check on it again when I go back. Thanks. And I am so sorry that I made such a mistake. Have a nice day. Will talk later

Janice Miller
Related Perhaps
My name is Janice Abbott Miller. My fathers people are Abbott, Baxter. In North East Alabama, DeKalb County. I live now in Fayetteville GA, suburb of Atlanta. You sponsor many of my relatives in the Baxter Family. Used to spend summers in Collinsville Alabama as a young girl and happy memories are plenty. Perhaps this may sound strange to others but not to you. I was born and raised in Miami Florida, and when we had to travel to Georgia or Alabama for funerals, they were not sad occasions, they were more like reunions and history lessons. Cemeteries have never been a source of sadness, not for long anyway. They are peaceful, spiritual places and very often an outdoor art gallery. Be Blessed Michael

Nancy
Mary E. Peyton Upchurch
While researching and reviewing the 1850 census in Bastrop County, Mary's mother could be Pheby Hancock Payton Forehand (Peyton on the census). That would also make Mary's married sister as P. Canziddy McDuff. They are buried at the J.J. Manor Hill cemetery.

RE: Clemmie Mae (Young) Baxter
OK, I was just wondering. One of Clemmie's cousin (another Young) is married to my cousin. I went to school with Doug and Clemmie. Thanks

RE: Clemmie Mae (Young) Baxter
You are welcome. I saw your request a couple of days ago, thought I'd take the photo. I don't live very far from Harris and haven't been in the cemetery in a long time. I knew Clemmie, are you related to her on the Young side?

Mark Crow
Distant Relative Amanda Mildred Crow Upchurch
Hey Michael,
My name is Mark Crow from Victoria, TX. Just wanted to say hello, as i believe we are related. I just recently became serious about my family's history and finding an actual living relative, as far down the line as it may be, is pretty cool. And in Texas too no less. Your Grandmother, Amanda Mildred Crow Upchurch, daughter of Jackson Arthur Crow and Julia A Hallum Crow, is the link. Jackson Arthur Crow's brother, William Francis Crow, is my GreatGreat Grandfather. I think we are 4th or 5th cousins, something like that. Anyway , good to know you are here and good job on the family info.

Thanks,
Mark Crow

RE: B B Jackson Photo
You're welcome. I don't live far from Haworth. I wanted to take pics of a couple of stones and decided to take more. I think the memorials look so much better with pics of the grave stones.
