Wife Jean, Fayetteville High School '57 classmate and perpetual bride of 55+ years, has been a tireless genealogy researcher since 1970, and retired as Genealogy Clerk from the Fayetteville, Arkansas, library.

We wrote, in the final chapter of the 1st edition of "Boyer Chronologists" in 1991, "Maybe there's a key somewhere in all this; maybe one of you has it; maybe we all have it; maybe there is none and it doesn't matter. What is important is a familiarity with our heritage. Nothing of this earth's treasures is of greater value than family; it's time more of us realized this. I know it won't seem so to the young, the busy; I dismissed it from my own life for so long. I can only start now to resume a written record, with the hope it will become a living document, revised and revisited often."

RE: Macedonia Cemetery
The duplicate memorials are precisely why I try to eliminate duplicate cemeteries on here. Some people probably added a memorial to both of them because they didn't know they were the same. That's another battle for another day... thanks again.

RE: Macedonia Cemetery
I'm familiar with the area you are speaking of. That's strange, though, because you are describing the Laurel Creek/Oneida area. The cemetery listing says it is in Fogertown, which is Hwy 472.

Well, ain't Google quite a thing! The church has a website, with an address. Check it out:

RE: Macedonia Cemetery
Would you mind giving me directions to this cemetery so that I can get it mapped?

RE: Macedonia Cemetery
It probably has a lot to do with the way obituaries are written around here. To say they are "terrible" would be an understatement. It is my assumption that some of them probably say Macedonia in Fogertown and others say Macedonia in Burning Springs, which are two nearby, but different, locales. I will get them merged. Thanks for your help.

Macedonia Cemetery
Hi, I was wondering if you would happen to know if these two cemeteries are duplicates?

RE: Nancy L. (Albright) Wallace, Wife of John Wallace who is also has a Memorial in the same cemete
" Are you connected with the restoration project there? "

No, I am not connected to the restoration project there. My interest comes as I am a 4th cousin, 4 times removed to John Wallace through his other mother Lydia Lowry who married Samuel Wallace. Lydia "Lydie" Lowry Wallace is my (let's see... my great great great grandaunt). I descend through Lydia's brother Peter Lowry, Jr. who married Susannah Moore and went off to Adams County, Ohio. They are both buried there in the Cherry Fork. Find A Grave Memeorial# 99828329.
