|Ed Harmon||RE: Mourning Blount|
Thank you so much for contacting me. According to my records, the parents of Martha Eleare "Ella" Blount were Jacob Mourning Blount b abt 1805 NC and Martha Mills b abt 1808 NC. In the 1850 GA census Pulaski Co Jacob & Martha are listed with their children including Martha age 7. Ella was born 10/30/1841 and died 9/25/1903 in Pulaski Co. She was married to Jim Davis then his brother Tom Davis after Jim died during the war and Tom promised Jim to look after her if something happened to him. Ella Blount was my 3 great grandmother.
Jacob & Martha had 12 children.
It is entirely possible we are talking about the same person. These are the children of Jacob & Martha: Georgia Ann, Moseine, William, Spire, Elizabeth, John, Jacob, Martha Ella, Minerva, Cindy, Steven and Roxie Ann.
My email address is email@example.com without the xyz.
why such a difference in years when tombstone says a date already im lost.
