Bio and Links
Bio Photo I served in the Army and Army Reserve for over 25 years with more than 15 years in the public affairs arena.
My experience runs the gamut from working at the U.S. Army Field Station at Camp Humphreys, Korea to running the day-to-day operations of the Press Camp Headquarters at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
Various positions have included work as a newspaper editor, educational publications, community and media relations, as well as marketing.
For the past four years I have been dedicating time to findagrave.com primarily adding records for my extended family, friends and veterans' and local cemeteries.
Additionally, in late 2012 I completed my application and was accepted into the Daughters of 1812, my first lineage society.

RE: Fort Leavenworth Natonal Cemetery
I commend you and your group on the work you've done at Fort Leavenworth. Yes, I would consider joining your group but really don't know what more I can contribute other than taking photos. Vanessa Gregg

Will do. Been out of pocket working for the MO State Emergency Management for the flooding in the Springfield and Joplin areas. Tomorrow will be heading to Pittsburg for the VFW Convention. Will be back next Friday. Question are we done with "M" Section? Do you want me to start on "P"? Have a great weekend.

RE: St Francis de Paul
Oh, yes - I thought you must already know. The PGS website (Peninsula Genealogical Society - Door Co. WI) has an amazing website with all sorts of resources. The main PGS website is:

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wipgs/PGS/index.htm

From the menu in the left column click on "Door Co. Cemeteries" which brings you to this page:

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wipgs/PGS/cemeteriesindexes.htm

And here is the link to that particular cemetery transcription list - for St. Francis DePaul Catholic-Duvall

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wipgs/PGS/TownofUnionCemStFrancesDePaulDuvall.htm

Hi Mary Ann, I placed her memorial at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery because the family member that notified us that she had passed said that was where she would be buried at a later date. I pulled her obit up and looks like she will be buried July 31 at 2 pm at Leavenworth National Cemetery rather than at Fort Leavenworth. Will move her memorial. Thank you for all you are doing to remember our veterans and thank you for your service, too.

Thomas Bradshaw
I am pleased to see the Cemetery details for Thomas Bradshaw as I am researching my family history and Thomas Bradshaw and my great grandfather, Henry, were brothers born in Lancashire County which is in the north of England. Eliza Hannah Tyson married Thomas in 1881 and their son Thomas Tyson Bradshaw was born in England in 1882 and the family moved to the USA shortly after and settled in Wake County, North Carolina, My research shows a number of Bradshaw/Tyson descendents in Raleigh and surrounding areas and I would be pleased to hear from anyone who is interested in knowing more about the family origins in England
