If I have created a memorial for a family member of yours, don't hesitate to request a transfer.

Any photo I have posted on Find a Grave is intended to be used.... Please feel free to use them in personal use and documentation.

Searching means finding the other entry, even though it may contain an error and working together means sending an edit.

Links, Corrections, Transfers and/or additional information
If you will please use the "Edit" tab located on each memorial, I will be more than happy to correct, edit or add information to a memorial that is meaningful. I will not add all of the information from the past ten census records that have been released or any distasteful or disturbing messages.

PLEASE NOTE!!!
Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to. Please do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate. For further information on this, please refer to how Find a Grave handles duplicate memorials.

Lastly and most importantly
There are so many absolutely wonderful people that use Find-A-Grave! I am very appreciative for all of the suggested corrections, additional information and photos that have been provided. Please don't allow the rude, abusive and sometimes rather bizarre behavior of individuals to curb your enthusiasm or your want to help others.

MOTTO TO LIVE BY
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

- Hunter S. Thompson

RE: Art Miller # 94839194
Linda,
Your Great Grandfather, Art Miller is buried in Block II, Lot 8, Grave 3. When you enter the front gate of White Rock Cemetery, Block II is the first block on the left. Lot 8 is in the second row, second lot from the north end. I am sorry I did not get this info to you sooner.

RE: Raymond R Simmons & John W Simmons
Linda,
Thanks for catching the error with their parents. When I was sent a request for their update, I did not catch the birth dates were after John William's death. Since neither would appear in a census, and they were buried in the same cemetery, I assumed the requester was accurate. Shame on me, I will try to be more careful in the future.

Joseph Outland
Hi, Linda. Your memorial for Joseph is 129763759

Joe was born in Murray, Ky. to Murray and Otye Outland. He spent his youth in Detroit always knowing he wanted to be a photographer. At 16, he worked as a stringer for the Detroit News. At 17, he graduated and enlisted, spending the last few months of WWII in New Guinea.

In the 50s he became one of Detroit's premier car photographers as well as working on other national advertising accounts. Scottsdale, Ariz. was his address during the 60s and in 1973 he settled in San Diego.

He continued to work freelance on national and local accounts through the 80s. In recent years he ran a stock photographic agency and mentored several young photographers in the area.

Joe is survived by Brenda, his wife of 28 years and their daughter Katherine. Also surviving are his sons Mark, Duane, and Conrad, and his daughters JoAnn Nuara and Mary McCullugh. He was preceded in death by sons Daniel and Bradley, grandson Adam.

Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, Nov 22, at All Souls' Episcopal Church, 1475 Catalina Blvd., San Diego, Ca. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joe Outland to All Soul's Episcopal Church. Published in The San Diego Union Tribune on Nov. 20, 2003.

RE: Blanot
Linda,

I did not get the original request. I saw that there were several requests for Memorial Gardens and claimed them.

I'll get back to cemetery and photograph the grave site for you.
