Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm an avid photographer/archivest, having taken the majority of both my and my husband's family's graves. We take (outdoor) cemetery photos from March/April to November or December/snowfall within an hour or so in all directions of N'east Wisconsin, incl: Outagamie; Winnebago; Calumet; Manitowoc; Sheboygan to the East; and in the West: Waushara, and some of Portage, if we're in that area. Mausoleum photos, of course, can be taken all year.

NOTE to those requesting grave photos in Wisconsin: Although each year is different, we don't usually see any ground-level graves until at least April, given the weather in our area. Thanks for understanding!

Here's a poem that touches my heart. It is the reason we are in this service; for both the living and those who have gone on before us.

Today we walked where others walked On a lonely, windswept hill; Today we talked where other cried For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched By graves of tiny babies; Snatched from the arms of loving kin, In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay In the last sleep of their time; Lying under the trees and clouds - Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot; Who lies beneath this hollowed ground? Was it a babe, child, young or old? No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay. We had been here once before On a day we'd all like to forget, But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin The graves of ancestors past; To be preserved for generations hence, A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend, For stones sometimes crumble to dust And generations of folks yet to come Will be grateful for your trust.
When corresponding, please indicate the name of the person/people whose grave photo I took. Thanks! :)

I have noticed on some of your family plot photos that you have been able to label each of the stones with the person(s)name. I take a lot of photos of extended family plots and would like to do the same but don't know how.

Would you please share with me how to do it.

RE: Erskine Family
Hello, we recently found another Erskine in the Chinook area. His name is Eugene R. Erskine, Born on July 6, 1888 and Died Apr. 9, 1969. If you create the memorial I will gladly add the photo to it like you requested.

Also added a photo of Glenn G. Erskine other headstone. (non military headstone) It appears he was married to a Isabel J. Hope that helps.

RE: Mary E. (Grovogel) Paige
What you propose I do... invest the time to create a duplicate memorials of my in direct violation of the terms of the findagrave website, which I will not do. Any duplicate memorials and the work on them would get deleted.

I have been researching Mary and George for 20+ years because they are my great grandparents and my direct line. I am related by blood to both of them, not just Mary. You are not related by blood to George.

If they are so important to you then I have no doubt we have the same information and photos.

RE: Mary E. (Grovogel) Paige

Since you feel your great aunt connection is a closer relationship than my great grandmother and great grandfather connection (directl line) and you decline my request for a transfer, then you will also respectfully understand my immediate and complete withdraw of any and all permission to keep and use the photographs of them that are exclusively mine.

RE: Erskine Family
Sorry for not getting back to ya sooner. That is awesome that you are LDS. We cover the Havre ward and both the Chinook and Malta Branches, so we stay quite busy. My companion and I will be sure to take any other pictures of Erskine's headstones in the Kuper Cememtary. If we find will will send them to ya.

Dear Linda and William, Thank-you very much for fulfilling my photo requests. I really appreciate the effort and expense it takes to do this kind act for others. Warm regards, Joni
