When I was young, I always listened when my parents or a family
member talked about the past and told stories. My family history has been a strong interest to me. Many of my related families have kept and shared 'keepsakes' from our different family lines for many years. It is sad, but I have been given many pictures with no information. Since I have joined Find a Grave, I have found others who have posted some of the same pictures I have that were taken
in the olden days. I have made contact with many 'distant' relatives and shared information. With all the electronic equipment available we can actually find & see how we link together in the twigs or branches of our tree. I would like to get our 'families' tree as complete as possible so it will be filled with knowledge and memories for future generations. Genealogy has made me realize,
"IT'S A SMALL WORLD, AFTER ALL"

I am willing to share any information I have or the pictures that I have posted. I would like to be able to share the pictures I don't know who the people are. Maybe someone in one of these families will know who they are & where they were taken.
