You are very welcome for the photo. I just realized that there were very old photo requests in St. Mary's Cemetery and thought they deserved to be fulfilled.

Hi! I have posted photos for him previously, and I have reposted one of the photos that I took to fulfill your photo request.

There are no individual grave markers for the priests and brothers listed on the grave marker shown. There is only this one central marker in the area where they are all buried.

If you have any questions in regards to this information, please let me know. Ace

Hi! I will attempt to photograph this grave for you within the next couple of weeks. Please do not expect to see very much on the headstone as most of these are very worn, discolored, or both.

Things to know: This cemetery is all but abandoned. Although they cut the grass and occasionally remove the grass/weeds/brush from around the graves markers, there is almost no maintenance on the grave markers themselves. There are also many flat grave markers that are covered with dirt.

How do I know all of this? I am probably the only person who regularly visits here. I have documented the layout of the cemetery, and I know that there are about 2,185 graves here (yes, I counted them all, but there should be 2,189 graves). I am still trying to determine where the missing four graves are located.

I am hoping/praying that I will be given access to the complete cemetery records within the next couple of weeks. This will enable me to better assist everyone who would like to know more about their relatives or friends buried here. It is a huge project that really needs to be completed.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this information.

Laurent Debailleux
Genealogy
Dear Madam Harding,

I am writting to you from Belgium. My name is Laurent Debailleux and I am doing some genealogy research about my family who emigrated to Westville around 1920. I was looking for Victoria Debailleul Lenfant (1891-1975)who married Arsene Lenfant (brother of Defonse Lenfant)and I see that you may be related with him.

If you are interested, I would be interested to get in touch with you.

Harriet Dusenbery
Davine, the headstone for Harriet is broken in two. It has been propped up on both sides with rebar but both sides are difficult to read. I posted the photo of the side that says Harriet, but I will send you the photo of the other side too if you would like.
