Andy and Anna Gilkey
J D,
I don't know the marriage date for Andy and Anna, but here are the death records.

Pennsylvania Death Information
Name: Andrew Gilkey
Gender: Male
Race: White
Age: 75
Birth Date: 21 Dec 1857
Birth Place: Pennsylvania
Death Date: 13 Apr 1933
Death Place: West Middlesex, Mercer, Pennsylvania, USA
Father Name: Robert Giley
Father Birth Place: Pennsylvania
Spouse Name: Anna Gilkey
Certificate Number: 38908

I have a copy of Anna's Death Certificate, buried in the same cemetery. I will attach it there so you can see that her maiden name was Bishop. I hope this helps you in your ancestor search. I am related to Anna through her mother Eliza Knowlton.

Bartis Robartis Barnes
Death Records. Information for his death in the War and death in a hospital in Knoxville Tn from Small Pox. Do you have records to support the death in the War?
He is my Great Grand Uncle and there are family lore stories about his fighting for the Confederate Side and his brother Steven fighting on the Union Side. It also has his death in the Battle of Nashville, being buried there and then later moved to National Cemetery in Knoxville. Fold3 has records of his wife Lucy Jane Gilkey and her efforts to receive pension and the mix up of Names either Robartis or Bartis. Would appreciate any information you might have on him. Thank you Wilma Madison

RE: John Gilkey
I emailed you this Gilkey line back as far as I have it...did you get it? It was in excel format. The 3 living Gilkey's I know will not talk to anyone. They have no interest in this genealogy and are very private people and sice John Phillip died so young I know they did not have direct contact with the Gilkeys. I will happily try to answer any questions I know the answer to.

Floyd Burton posted
JD. I found it in my back up copies and uploaded. I also transferred another from Haywood.

Oh no I did it again
JD. I did have the photo for 131396142 Floyd Burton and uploaded it but somehow deleted it before it got posted. I'm pretty sure I have a back up copy at home and I'll look for it. Otherwise I know approximately where he is buried and I'll try to get another shot. I'm sorry I keep messing up with you! I think when I find a Gilkey I just get too excited. I'll follow up as soon as I can.

I know I found another one or two in Haywood too so keep your eyes open.

RE: John Gilkey
I do have some of the information on John Phillip Gilkey's ancestry...will have to gather it all...if you can give me your email address I will scan what I have to far as I know there are only two living Gilkey's (my sister in laws) from this line left but I have not dug very deep...I will be waiting for your reply

RE: Anna Gilkey Ellis
I don't have any pictures. And as I said my former in-law's only knew a Gilkey family. So I don't think we are related, even distantly. I will have to ask my former husband if he knows if there might be a photo of the Gilkey's somewhere.
