|KDQ||RE: Adelia's 1st husband|
I would like to get a photo of John Twiford's headstone.
I suspect that date of birth on his memorial is based on census info which can often be inaccurate. If John was born in October of 1851 instead of 1852 then he was most likely the son of Stephen Twiford and the mystery is basically solved.
Then again my mother had a saying "you always know who the birth mother is but the father is up for debate". DNA testing has solved a lot of those issues.
I don't believe John would have stuck with the Twiford name if it wasn't important to him.
I came up with a theory about the deaths of Adelia's 1st and 2nd spouses. If they had close contact with printers ink at the time that might have shortened their lives.
My mother was an editor for several newspapers in Colorado and for the US Army for many years ancient ages ago. We children were not allowed to touch the ink back then due to it's hazardous properties. I am assuming that chemicals such as arsenic, lead, and other types of setting agents might have affected the health of Adelia's husband's.
Adelia's brother Fordyce Spring didn't live to be very old either. He worked in the printing industry too. Of course this is pure speculation on my part.

|KDQ||RE: Adelia's 1st husband|
Great info on Adelia. Thank you.
This one was tricky one to set up. Are you related? If you have a special interest in Adelia would you like to take over her memorial?
So husband #1 was Thomas Trumbull and the reason Adelia was living with her mother in the 1850 Census was due to the death of her husband two weeks after their marriage. I'm so glad you cleared that up for me.
Am I understanding correctly that Adelia's husband Stephen Twiford passed away just three months after their marriage? Wow. She seems to have been very unlucky.
I usually only give about 15 minutes of time to the memorials I am setting up if I haven't taken a headstone photo. This one sucked me in for at least an hour.
I am updating the memorial now.
Your help is appreciated immensely.

|James||Relationship or not....|
You ask me if I was related to Julia(Kinney) Brearley or not, No I'm not related to her, her father Rev Martin P. Kinney was one of the minister's of the church I attend and of the church Iam the church historian of which is 2nd Congregational/1st Presbyterian Church of Rockford,Ill, he was the pastor from 1864-1871 of 2nd Congregational Church years before we merged with 1st Presbyterian Church which happened about 2 in a half years ago. By the way Iam still researching Julia's brother Henry Martin Kinney's life who died in Winona, Minn in the 1920's after reciding there for many years. Sorry Iam not related to Julia. I do have a very interesting family tree of my own on my mother and fathers side though. James

|Judi O||William S. Waddle - date of death|
Hi Don - I was doing some research on William S. Waddle who you posted on findagrave.com and I question the date of death you have posted. I have a copy of his obituary from the Latrobe Bulletin dated 17 May, 1941, which states Mr. Waddle, formerly of Derry, PA, died Monday which puts his date of death as 12 May 1941 instead of 10 July 1941 which you have posted. Please check your notes/records and let me know what documentation you have. His first wife, Sarah Ida May Winings is my great grandaunt. Thank you.

No big deal, Don, Someone will come along and get it eventually.
|Kathy Robinson||Prairie Mound Cemetery, New Hartford, Pike County, Illinois|
If I have created any memorials for your relatives at Prairie Mound Cemetery, I don't mind transferring them to you. I also don't mind adding info and transferring people back to you after you have transferred them to me. Just let me know!
|Kathy Robinson||Mary Gay Transfer|
Thanks for the transfer, Don. I have just started adding memorials to Prairie Mound Cemetery - if you have any others you would like to transfer to me, I will add any extra info I have for them. I'm going to try to get the whole cemetery photographed this week. Kathy
