I am Norman Dickey. I grew up in Southern ILL in Wayne Co. I have always had some knowledge and some interest in family history. It starts easy when 5 generations are buried at Dickeyville. I married Rita. She wanted to research and become a DAR member. She is now in DAR with 11 proven ancestors. I started helping my daughter research my lines. My daughter Janet has 25 proven accepted DAR lines I have joined SAR and have 8 patriots proven. While researching the net we discovered "find a grave" and for me it has been VERY helpful, especially when volunteers help from miles away. So we try to return the favors to others. we take pride in our research, but anybody can make a mistake and I type pooorly. Norman
