|I know it's difficult sometimes to get information on relatives. It's even harder when they are deceased. I have tried to get some answers from estranged family members with real no answers, so here I am. Finding relatives burial locations can lead to other discoveries about them and their lives. So far, I have been lucky enough to find great people on Find a Grave who have taken time to go out and take pictures so people such as myself who are far away can see the final resting place of relatives.|

If you could get a copy of the paper that has Robert Murphy's burial name and date that would be appreciated. A soft copy to RogerRoot@gmail.com would be good. Please do not go to too much trouble as the death certificate states burial as 26 Sept. 1946. Regards, Roger Root - Tucson, AZ

I was at Olivet Memorial Park several years ago and one of the managers brought me down to the basement and there in a file cabinet were the books for the Sunset Cemetery.
I've also run across names buried at the Sunset Cemetery found on the San Francisco Death Index through Vital Search. I subscribe to their indexes.
I had an idea that perhaps I can transcribe the record and at least start a list of those buried there.
What do you think?

Amy, Yes please check for Robert E Murphy Find A Grave number 121222271 I have just added him to Sunset View. It would also be interesting to know about where the Sunset View Cemetery was located on those golf courses and driving ranges. My email address is email@example.com if you want to send any private information. Thanks much - Roger

Amy, Have you had any luck finding grave locations from the Olivet Mem. Park? Also do you know the location on the golf course that was the old Sunset View. I just added a distant relative to that cemetery, Robert E Murphy.

Hi again Amy,
Have you been able to find any more information on Michael Larson(55412982) or his wife Oline? Looking at the dates on their grave marker, I believe the others are her/their grandchildren. I am most interested in their marriage date.
Someone has linked Karen Anderson(55394780) as a daughter of Michael & Oline. He would have been about 18 years old when she was born, and Oline 23. It seems less plausible the more I think about it.
Have you found any emigration dates for either?

If I get back over there, I'll try to see if I can pull the grass away more and get more dates, unless you have them.
Matthew would be my 4th not 6th Great, I miscounted!! :)
Yes, it really is a great document.I guess that makes us about 6thcousins! Matthew Dixon would be our 6th or 7th G. gr'father (6th for me) I am related to Kizziah Dixon Cooper through her brother Harry a son of Matthew. And yourline comes down through Allen Cooper. Hope you enjoy my postings, I have quite a few. Have a great day! Genealogist

Hello Amy. James T. Cooper was the son of Rev. John Renwick Cooper and Nancy Haley, Rev. John was the son of Allen Cooper and Keziah Caroline Dixon, Keziah was a sister to Harry Dixon who is my 3Great Gr'father. Mostly they came out of NC to Bedford Co, TN, then into Izard Co. AR, and into surrounding counties. I own an original copy of the Matthew Dixon genealogy. If you go to his page under my name you can see how the Coopers and Dixons link together. Several Dixons married Coopers in the 1820-1850's. Genealogist
