RE: Feirba J. Goode Cairns 40986135
Thank you very much Kat for entering the Memorial number to link Feirba Jean (Justice) (Goode) Cairns to her mother, Mollie Mary E. (Wood) (Justice) Raines. I'm working on finding Feirba's father, W. Edward "Ed" Justice who was born in Arkansas on Aug. 1, 1879 (Feirba's parents were divorced after having 4 children, three of whom lived to adulthood). Tonight I found Ed Justice's WWI Draft Registration Card on Ancestry which is exciting! Also thank you for putting in the complete date and place where Feirba and her 2nd husband, Vernon Tolleth Cairns were married - very late in life - so no kids.

Hope I will be able to find Feirba's ex-husband (no children) Ray D. Goode! However, since they divorced maybe Feirba wouldn't want to be "linked" to him anymore anyway?

Thanks again very much!

Best regards,
Elizabeth "Bitsy" (Gibson) Wagner

Charles Nelton Cairns FAGM# 40986133
Hello Kat,
Thanks for writing. As you know from reading his headstone he was not buried in Idaho. The 2nd Find A Grave Memorial page for him in Honolulu, Hawaii, may, or may not be, where he is buried. It may be the 2nd Find A Grave is only another "honorary" memorial for him - frankly - I'm not 100% sure either if his remains were buried at the military cemetery in Honolulu, Hawaii either. However, I do believe it is beneficial for his family to know about both of his Find A Grave Memorials and they should both be referenced on both of his Memorial pages on Find A Grave - so that one is link to the other - despite where he was, or wasn't buried - if you know what I mean.
There are a LOT of records regarding Charles Nelton Cairns military service, burial records and photographs of him, his wife, and his family on Ancestry.com which I have attached all that I have found so far to his "profile" page in the Center Family Tree (a private tree on Ancestry). My best friend's aunt was married to Vernon Tolleth Cairns who was the older brother of Charles Nelton Cairns.
I would be happy to email you a Guest invitation to the private Center Family Tree so you can look at all the records on Charles Nelton Cairns by just Clicking on them if you will send me either your email address, or, if you are a member of Ancestry, if you will send me your Ancestry Member ID I can send the Guest invitation to your Ancestry Member ID.
Best regards,
Elizabeth "Bitsy" (Gibson) Wagner

Memorial# 40986135 - Feirba J. Goode Cairns
Hello,

Thank you for your work on Find A Grave.

Her 1st husband was Ray D. Goode. Her maiden name is not Goode. Her maiden name is Justice.

She is the daughter of W. Edward Justice and her mother's maiden name is Mollie Mary E. Wood.

When entering the Memorial# 71699589 for her mother by using the "Edit" key, after I entered her mother's Memorial# - I saw below her 2nd husband (Vernon Tolleth Cairns) Memorial# 40986140 which is correct. I saw the year of their marriage was blank. I have their marriage record which shows she and Vernon T. Cairns got married Aug. 29, 1980 in Winnecmucca, Humboldt County, Nevada - though they were both residents of Idaho when they got married. I filled in below Vernon's Memorial Number the year 1980 - and then the computer locked me out and said it was not necessary to enter the spouse when it has already been entered on the other spouse. I understand that - I was just trying to enter the YEAR they got married.

I do not have an "Edit" in my "Pending Edits" folder that would normally show that I did submit her mother's Memorial # 71699589 to link her to her mother. I do not want to double-link her to her mother's memorial. However, could you check and see if you did receive the link to her mother's memorial on Find A Grave.

Sorry to be so much trouble - next time I see a blank year for a marriage date - I'll just enter the parent - and leave it alone.

Thank you very much.

Barney relation :)
Hi Kat

We are related. I just noticed your Barney family name list. You are related to the same Adian Scrope 1601-1660 which I have sponsored a memorial for. This makes me more curious about your memorial for Adian Scrope 1711-1719?

You and I are both related through the Scropes and Barney's

Sincerly,
Rose

Adian Scrope 1711-1719
Hi Kat,

I noticed your memorial # 67362015 Adian Scrope, Birth: May 20, 1711
Death: Mar. 5, 1719 and his mother Elizabeth Scrope 1719.

I am a descent of the Scrope family and was trying to see if your Adian Scrope might be related to my Adian Scrope? However, your Adian Scrope was born a lot earlier in history than mine. I researched your Adian and could not find any information on him. Is he a ancestor of yours?

I am interested in the Scrope history and was just a bit curious.

The photo of the Lincoln Cathedral on your memorial site is very nice, I was wondering if perhaps you wouldn't mind if I copied it?

If I do come across any information on your Adrian Scrope 1711-1719 I will let you know.

Sincerely,
Rose
