Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love this site! I love finding relatives, finding relatives of relatives, etc. I get immense satisfaction finding maiden names and family links. I will always try to help others in their quest for family information. If I have added a memorial for one of your relatives, please feel free to send me a note and I will transfer it to you, or update it with more information as you wish.

For all of you volunteer photo takers out there - we owe you a big round of applause for all of the hard work that you do! In return, please use any of my photos freely on any of your family tree sites.

I do ask permission to use photos on my own family tree, giving full credit to the photographer, so I really wish a certain FAGer would stop posting silly and ridiculous error messages on my photo requests - GET A LIFE!

I will post obits on memorials with proper citation. I know some people feel that this info is "private" or "personal" but.... it was PUBLISHED IN THE PAPER FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE. 99% of the time this info is invaluable to genealogists. I have had cemeteries tell me they are private property and those interred there want privacy. If someone truly wants privacy, get cremated and scattered over the ocean, don't put up a huge headstone with your name & dates in flashing lights...... It is like having a huge billboard up on a highway and you are asked not to look at it or read it........SILLY. Taken from Rita Botkin Bomher (#47319873)

Everyone.....please always view your profile page and click on the new edit tab - this is so very important and a much more simplified way of handling SACs.

RE: Anna E Landon
Wow... That is confusing! So Anna and Emma are one in the same? If that's the case, then the picture of Anna/Emma is there. :)

Theodosia Landon VanArsdale
I've discovered in Licking County's Probate Court register of marriages that Sarah was Theodosia's first name and Theodosia her middle name. According to the register, "Sarah T. Landon" and "William Vanarsdale" were married on 26 November 1887. [Probate Ct Register of Marriages for Licking Co., OH, vol. 3 (1881-1888), p. 531, #1592]. Her maternal grandmother was Sarah Rife, wife of Rev. William Kent McDaniel.

RE: Almeda C Williams Kelsey
Hi Roslyn,

I stand corrected then.....my great grandmother always said her Aunt Almeda never married. I'm surprised Frank Passic didn't mention it if it was a cenotaph. I'm very surprised that she went back to Sharon. I asked Jan for advice......not sure if or how the two memorials can be merged but maybe she might have an idea how to go about it. I no longer have the photo of Almeda & would hate to lose that and all the links. I'm glad you brought this to my attention......am sure it will get all straight in the end.

RE: Almeda C Williams Kelsey
These are two totally different women. The Almeda C Williams (8102414) in Albion, MI never married, was a sister of my gg grandfather, graduated from Albion college and died in Albion. The original memorial was set up by Albion Historian Frank Passic - he passed it on to me. The other Almeda C Williams (23034353) married a Kelsey, stayed in Sharon, CT. My family were all born in Sharon but moved to MI around 1840. So, as I said, two different ladies :) Hope this clears up some things.

I know what you mean! I was adding photos that I've had hanging around for quite a while and I was so thrilled that it was one someone was looking for.

I love the old stones

You're welcome. Please read his bio, I think there are a few mis-typed items.
Enjoy.

Etta Louise Landon
Good Day, I am the cousin of the great granddaughter of Etta Landon and she has raised a concern that the date of death is wrong. Can you verify that it is correct from the headstone? I have requested a headstone picture but they sometimes take a long time to fulfill.

I have found a document for Etta Fulton Landon with that date but I do not believe they are the same individual. Etta's middle name was Louise and her surname was Denney.

Thanks in advance... Jim Nygard
