Bio and Links
Bio Photo A native of Trenton, Grundy County, Missouri. I have had an interest in genealogy and cemeteries for many years.

My family history in Grundy County dates back to 1838. My family includes, maternal surnames WHitney/Shepard/Gibeaut/Colley:Metcalf/Tate/Carson/Morgan and paternal surnames include, Griffin/Bennett/Stanley/Lakey,Roberts/Monk/Sandlin/Comer

I grew up in the Edinburg community, Grundy County, Missouri. Most of my family still reside in Grundy County. I have lived in Dallas, Tx, and in Missouri, Cameron, Excelsior Springs before moving to Chillicothe 6 yrs ago.

I sincerely apologize for any DUPLICATES, I am not here to be the TOP contributor. I am here to remember friends and relatives. If there is a duplicate it possibly means I knew the family or their connection to Edinburg community.

Re: Whitney Family
I went to the Whitney, Clewell, Varian plots at Merion 52. I've added the photos to their memorials.
The memorials were:
Emma Varian Whitney
W. Beaumont Whitney
Laura Margaret Whitney
Mary Clewell Whitney
Maria P. Varian Clewell
Margaretta Varian
Edward Varian
Margaretta V. Whitney Wright
Raymond D. B. Wright
Graham V Wright

I am writing all of those names, so that you may check out their stones to see if there are any other family connections. A correction needs to be made to the comment you left for the photo request. It appears, based on the stones, that Laura Margaret Whitney was the first wife of W. Beaumont Whitney and Emma Varian Whitney was the second wife. Mary Clewell Whitney died as a child.

Hope this helps,
Antonio

Hi David, Just letting you know a marker photo has been added to his memorial.

What can you tell me about Henrietta Spencer? My grandmother was a Spencer. As you may remember, my grandfather was the Giffin line. You're welcome to use the email address on my page.

Hope to get over to the historical soc in Broome now that that it's FINALLY stopped snowing here. I'll keep posted on anything I might turn over.

RE: Freese's in Sunnylane
I have Mel Freese's obituary and Harriet Robinson's death notice ready to email, but I do not have your contact. I posted Harriet's on her Find A Grave memorial, but Mel does not currently have a memorial (that I can find).

Concerning the other obit's I mentioned, I do not keep all the obits I put on memorials because that would take too much space on my computer! If possible, you can go to the memorial, right click on the obit photo, and "Save Image As". If you are unable to do this, let me know and I can email the obits.
