My name is Linda, |
My husband and I are researching our families,
His is the Snelling, McGahan, Gocke, & Mueller.
Mine is Seamans, Dunkeson, Greer and Wicker.
We are both retired and enjoy taking photo's so we volunteer here.
If I have posted a photo of your family member's stone and you want to use it in your tree. Please feel free to do so. Just do something forward for someone else. I believe that's why FAG added this area when they created this web page. There are 5 free slots to post a personal photo, stone, obituary, B/D certificates or just add an up-dated photo, before anyone has to pay a single penny. You will not get that anywhere else. That makes for a really nice tribute to those who have passed own, and a nice gift to the researchers who are looking for family information. I'm happy I found this site and thank God each day for the fine folks who seek out the data and take time to create the memorials. I've enjoyed working with almost all of them. As long as we can we will volunteer here and give freely of our time, equipment and photo's. This is a fine place to give back to those who have helped us in our research, and pray it's a long voyage.
Sun, Rain, Wind & Ice changes things, and technology aids us. If you get a better visual/readable photo than mind please post it. A bird in hand is worth two in the bush!

I looked on Ancestry.com and was able to locate Jesse and Lela on Findagrave.com. I have linked them to their son Herbert for you.

I sent in the request for the edits. Thanks for the info on how to download photos. I'll be doing that soon.
Also thanks for the heads up on the Ft. Smith Library Genealogy section. I'll be sure to visit them.

Linda, I appreciate your time and effort for looking for Berry King Taylor at Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery. I have been doing research on my family off and on since 1988,I did find where Berry fought in the Civil War in Arkansas.
A cousin thought Berry was buried at Oak Hill.
I will delete the memorial.Thank you...Linda

Thank you so very much for your work with Find A Grave. It is such a wonderful gift you give to so many. I started my journey in my genealogy back in the 1980's and at that time I visited many cemeteries looking for my extended families. Today I am unable to do so but I am still on that journey. It is a never ending quest. I am trying to get as much of my extended family as possible on Ancestry so that my family and extended families will know their heritage. It is with your help and others like you that I am able to keep on. Thank you for allowing me to use copies of your photos on my Ancestry and Family Tree Maker family files. May God Bless you in your quest as you have blessed me and so many others.

Thank you for taking this beautiful photo. I had forgotten, I even requested it. I only wish I had an obit for her. She was a very nice lady, whom I had the privilege of knowing for a short while. she was a cousin of mt late husband. I do remember her husbands name was Richard. She was struck down with a very fast growing cancer.
I forgot to mention that I will be visiting Arkansas in a few months and plan to spend time doing research on my tree. I will be in the Fort Smith area. Are you close to there….and would you like to get together? Are you researching Laura's family tree for yourself….or helping someone that asked?
I also have pictures that I will be downloading as soon as I figure out how to do it. I am willing to share whatever I have to help someone else in their search.
Thanks for doing what you do.
