Thank you for making the correction on Step Roberts memorial page and for transferring Lela Roberts memorial page to me. I have added her siblings names and the marriage date for Martha Kirk and William G. Teal. Thank you again.

Can a correction be made to Find a Grave on the Step Roberts and Martha Teal connection? The line that reads "By 1900 Martha had married Step Roberts" is wrong. This is referring to Martha Ann Teal. Step Roberts was never married but once and that was to Lela Kirk Roberts. Martha Ann Kirk Teal was the mother of Lela Kirk Roberts so she was the mother-in-law of Step. She was first married to James William Kirk (they had 3 daughters, Laura Arabella Kirk, Minnie Kirk and Eulalia 'Lela" Kirk) and second she married William G. Teal (they had sons Tom and Jim Teal). Thank you.

Step & Lela are my grandparents. I would love to talk with you about the Kirk family history. We never knew much about Lela Robert's family, except for the one sister, Minnie. She was very young when her father died and I don't think she knew much about him. My email address is email@example.com
Please contact me.
