Bio and Links
I have been working on my family tree for about 30 years. There are over 12,000 names in it, with the concentration on the names Bittenbender, Brensinger, Gery (or Geary), Rader (or Roeder)and Reichl. My point of reference centers around Berks and Lehigh counties in Pa., although it branches out, mostly in eastern Pa. I have one missing link...Jacob Bittenbender (born in 1815 and died in 1863) who was married to Sarah Wagner. If you ever find his tombstone or record of death PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I also printed a Bittenbender-Gery volume of my notes and it is available at the Schwenkfelder Library in E. Greenville; I hope to get more updated copies available soon. Always open to new or corrected info. Thanks.

Jacob Bittenbender
I was checking out one of your memorials and then went to your profile....noticed it said you were looking for Jacob. So I looked for him and you already created a memorial for him. Glad you found him.

Ortts deleted
Thanks for the suggestion to delete the duplicates of Johannes and Maria Fischer Ortt.
I had tried to do that a while back but was not able to, since I did not create them. I had not thought to try it again since the new upgrades were implemented. Thanks for the reminder. Ed

RE: Re. Laura Matilda (Stahl) Reinhard
Thank you Kitty for approving the edits I sent you and for transferring John Bortz to my care. After years of researching my family I have finally gotten to Findagrave to try to update and provide the information I have gathered on my family, so that they can be documented and remembered through their memorials. I appreciate yours, and others, help in this project. I especially appreciate the work that local folks have done in putting these people on Findagrave with their locations and tombstones. Your work is priceless!

RE: Uriah Samuel David
I don't know where I put 1957 but if I did
it was a typing error, I was there when he died
in 1951 it was the year before we moved from Pa.
to Maryland. Seeing him in the hospital before
he died is something I will never forget!!!

I know about the duplicate. Otto I believe is dead and no one is taking care of his memorials. I don't know how to merge two memorials. Do you?

Re Reuben Deshler
Just a bit of info for you. Yes Henrietta Caroline Deshler (1828-1878) was his 1st wife and the mother of all 5 of his children. They were my 2x great grandparents. Both of Henrietta's parents are also buried in Jerusalem Western Salisbury...Daniel Ritter (1789-1873) and Lydia Knauss Ritter (1795-1876).
Thanks for the memorial.
