Bio and Links
I have been working on my family tree for about 30 years. There are over 12,000 names in it, with the concentration on the names Bittenbender, Brensinger, Gery (or Geary), Rader (or Roeder)and Reichl. My point of reference centers around Berks and Lehigh counties in Pa., although it branches out, mostly in eastern Pa. I have one missing link...Jacob Bittenbender (born in 1815 and died in 1863) who was married to Sarah Wagner. If you ever find his tombstone or record of death PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I also printed a Bittenbender-Gery volume of my notes and it is available at the Schwenkfelder Library in E. Greenville; I hope to get more updated copies available soon. Always open to new or corrected info. Thanks.

RE: Jacob Schantz
Google "Chronicling America" for imaged newspapers. Only a tiny fraction of the nation's newspapers were imaged. You can search imaged newspapers with a two-word (not more) search, but searching isn't always successful because some pages are blurred, faint, torn, etc. You can narrow a search to: State; a specific publication; a date-range, etc.

Thanks for straightening the duplicates out and for recording the burials as well.

RE: Trexler Private Cemetery
Thank you!

I live in Kansas but am planning to take my mother back to find all the family burial sites next month. I am sure we can find this one with your directions.

Trexler Private Cemetery
Can you give me the address of this cemetery or directions to get there. I am bringing my mother to the area in late September and Peter Trexler would be her 5th great grandfather.

Elemina Jordan
We are vacationing in San Diego and while antique-ing the other day, I came across a Certificate of Birth and Baptism for Elemina Jordan Muir and William Muirs daughter Mary. I think it is the same Elemina as this one. Are you a relation? Being the genealogy enthusiast that I am, I came home and looked her up. I can send you a photo if it is.

East Texas Cemetery
This is definitely a duplicate of the Salem Cemetery in East Texas. I asked the people who created the original memorials to move them to the correct cemetery and promised to delete my duplicates when this was done. Only one person has not yet moved her memorial, so it is the only memorial in that duplicate cemetery. I also asked the administrators to merge the two cemeteries, but that has not yet happened.
