Daughter of Betty Miser Roberts and the late Lige Andrew Roberts. I love to work puzzles--and every grave is a piece of someones family puzzle.|
I work mainly in the McMinn,Monroe and Meigs Co areas.We live close enough for me to venture into Roane and Loudon Co also. I am more than happy to make transfers of memorials. I love to see obits, pictures and family links made.
I have learned a lot of local history and geography while we are out looking for photo requests in the various cemeteries. My husband Robert locates a lot of the photo requests when he is with me.

Thank you so much for the reply...I have a paternal relative who's plot is marked by an old cedar tree so Im not surprised to find another unmarked grave. Once again, thank you for looking :) -Ron

The transcription on the memorial page has the wrong year though. Sorry, I wasn't clear in the first message.

|Barbara Tynes Claiborne||Robison/Robinson in Meigs TN|
Oh what a comfort that I was not the only one confused. I have them on my Ancestry tree "Tynes" - and I keep changing them from Roberson to Robison to Robinson. I'm willing to stick anyone who sounds like it on there! But I am gradually accumulating a picture of the family, and location is everything. Barbara Tynes Claiborne
|Lee Ferguson||RE: Margaret Lee|
Thanks for the info. I've corrected my records. I guess she could be Margaret Sue Thomas, wife of Quentin Kinser Lee. I'll look for an obit or other record to clarify. Thanks again.
|Catherine Goss||Dallas A. Clifton, Jr|
You have Linda Lee Walker Clifton listed as the wife of Dallas, however she was really married to his brother Michael Clifton. If you would edit this info I would be grateful. They are my cousins.
|Connie lufriu||Dora Vanpelt|
Thanks so much for the information. Maybe you can help me, this was my great grandmothers child, and I have always wondered where he was buried. My mother told me her granmother had said that she lived in sweetwater at the time of his death..and would walk to see his grave. She said the name of the cemetery was shady valley. .but you know how through the years these stories may not be accurate. Because it looks like shady valley is no where near sweetwater. Maybe you have records of anoter cemetary nearby?
|Catherine Trina Martens||Minerva J. Peak (Peck)|
Minerva is the daughter of Jesse Allen Peak and Harriet Wilson, my 2x great grandparents. I've searched for quite a while trying to find her grave. Thank you so much for supplying the information. It is greatly appreciated.
