I think the Findagrave is a valuable tool and enjoy a good hunt! It's really all about all the volunteers that make Findagrave such a success. Also when I learned just how many graves are unmarked as well as how many stones deteriorate over time, I felt I had to do my part to help document those in my family at the very least. |
My interest in Findagrave is mostly genealogical. The links are my favorite part because you can just click through the generations and different family surnames to get a great visual of how everyone fits into the family. Recently I have been requesting links with the new edit process which is wonderful BTW! Thanks very much for everyone who has accepted the links and so quickly too!
Surnames: Hardcastle, Kerr, Herbert, Hines, Shaw, Norman, Pate, Thrailkill, Drake, Westcoat, Terrill, Mingin, Small, VanSant.....
Website (UPDATED!): Hardcastle Kinfolks
Ancestry website: My Hardcastle/Kerr Kinfolks
You may use photos I have posted as you wish. Just please credit the photo was taken by Kelly K. Thanks!
I am glad to make transfers if you are directly related, more closely related than I am and that you will be able to contribute more to the memorial. Please click "Edit" and Suggest a correction link to make requests.
I am also happy to add bios. Just please email what you want to add and be specific with names etc so that I may just copy and paste.

John Campbell Carter, Sr. did not show up when I entered him. He was married to my great aunt and is buried in the same cemetery with her. I do not know who has the other entry but it is not very much information on his Find A Grave nor was he married to the first wife that is linked to him and he was not buried with her. Maybe this person can link up to him or maybe contact me if he wants to add more information but as it stands I think the other person should delete his. Not sure where you fit in with this. Are you family?

Well, I tried to link the mother and it says her memorial is deleted. So, I went to her memorial and there it is in Jackson Cemetery. I guess you can contact findagrave and ask them why it will not link. It does have to be done on my end, so let me know what they say. I have never seen one like this.

No problem, I am glad I could help!

My photos are more current, so I intend to leave most. My family members are adding items to the Thompson plot and want the additions photographed and updated, so I intend to that as well.
Thanks for all of your volunteer work on the site as well.
Thank you for the update, couldn't find Riley or Theta Hardcastle on find a grave.

Guess so....! Since it came back up after being down for two days I have seen some weird things happen. Hope they get it fixed...! Thanks for the edits...!
|Grave_Walker||RE: Decline Edit|
There was 2 of the same request. Accepted one and the other was NO CHANGE. Edits were made. Another one of Find A Graves glitches I guess...!

home to wait till Tuesday, but said nope& walked till
I found it at end. I believe it is Block 35 Caldwell

and talking with others whose grandparents had settled
here in Eureka Springs in early 1800's!!
I am from Chicago, been here 21 years,
Glad to help,

I have been to the cemetery a couple of time looking for Ann Murphy and find none. Maybe if I knew who her husband was and the dates of her death I might find more. You know how it is done in some of the older cemeteries The women don't have name. They are just someones wife.
So if you can send me her husbands name and if I find his tomb stone then maybe I will find something about his wife Ann Murphy.
