Bio and Links
Interested in following surnames, and more:

Paternal: Booher, Bass, Tuffin, Hazelet (and any variations of it), Auld, Johnson, Bushby (of Surrey, England), Landreth, Saffley, etc.

Maternal: Wierzelewski, Rozewicz, Suyczanka/Sujki, Banicka, Kowalewska/Kowalski (most of Slupy parish in Poznan, Poland), Przymus, Janeski/Janaszak.

Most paternal names have been in the states since very very early in US history - Polish names are comparatively recent immigrants.

RE: Helen Wierleske
Looks like there was already a photo on the memorial - I added the one I took which is a little larger.

Adalbert Wierzelewski
When I took the photo today of Adalbert Wierzelewski (or Wierleske on the stone) I noticed a grave for Helen Wierleske (1912-1919) nearby so snapped a photo. Is she yours? If so, if you'd like to set up a memorial I'll be happy to add the photo.

John Barb
Hi, did find a Barb headstone, but the name/dates were different. If you can check your info, I would be happy to return and try again...

RE: Kurowski/Krosky (etc)
Hi Lanea,

yes, my grandfather on my Mom's side was the son of Michael Kurowski and Agnes Goria. It would be fun to talk to you. Here is my e-mail address: thanks, Anne

Constance Kurowski/Krosky
I found the grave marker for Constance Krosky. The spelling is different but according to the census and family trees, this is the correct Constance. She is buried beside her daughter Virginia and in the next family plot, her daughter Alice M Krosky Olsen #34824541 and her son in law Willmer 106777410. In the 1930 census, she was head of household and her daughter Adelaide lived with her.

Hannah Weigel / May Weigel
Well, I'm in Osseo and checked the books at my sisters - The stone I had was May Weigel, not Hannah May Weigel. So I've added the photo.

Hanna May was born 12-5-1875 and died 10-15-19972 and was buried 10-19-1972
Block 3, Lot 32, Grave 1

Records show Parents were: Leander & Eliza Ann Bass Booher.

RE: Re: Haslet in Fort Palmer
Aloha Lanea,

It's impossible to read anything on Agness's side of the stone, except for her first name. Robert looks like it might say "aged 66 yrs" but again, really deteriorated and hard to read. On the other side of the stone it looks like it says "James". Was there a James Haslet? I'll look in the Fort Palmer Cemetery book tomorrow at the Ligonier Valley Library.

By the way, if you're in Hawaii, I'm jealous!

You're very welcome for the photos.
