I have been interested in genealogy for most of my life – thanks to my Aunt Iola who wrote and contributed to a number of family histories. Lewis and I have always taken pictures of grave markers as a means of documenting our families. Last year this interest took us to Hants County, Nova Scotia. I have been posting the cemetery pictures we took on Ancestry and recently received a note suggesting I post my pictures on Findagrave – and here I am!|
I would be happy to transfer any memorial page that I created to anyone who is closer to the person honored than I am. I welcome corrections and am happy to make additions.

|CDev007||Sources for Eli Beebe's Parents?|
I am doing research on Eli H Beebe (1808-1883) who is the husband of Olive and is buried in Butler Co, Iowa and am wanting to know who his parents are.
I saw on the find a grave site that you created that Isaac and Olive listed as the parents of Eli. This is a pretty widely accepted fact across many websites and many family trees. Despite this though I have been unable to find any sources that show that this is firmly true.
I am trying to find sources that verify this. Do you have the sources stored somewhere. Or do you have the sources on your Ancestry.com account? Can I gain access to these records somehow?
My Ancestry username is chrisdevenport007.

Thank you for the updates.

Hmmm! Let me do a bit more snooping...

Do you know anything about his wife Agnes? All I can find is a cemetery note that she is in grave 8a, which is Arno's.

Is this a family you're researching? There are two other graves in the same lot (the entire lot was purchased by Edward). One is an unknown (no marker and records were destroyed), the other is Albert Abraham, son of Mr/Mrs CE Abraham, aged 6 months, DOD 25 Aug 1896. Wondering if CE might be
Ellsworth C? If not, do you know of any other Abrahams?

Since making another site for Charles Morris Armstrong is frowned upon, should I attach the photo on his father's headstone, since they are on the same marker? It appears to be a 4 sided rectangular prism with the father Charles Morris on one side and the son Charles Morris on one of the other sides. Thanks for responding so quickly.

Thanks so much for the information. I saw that the picture in your memorial said San Jose, California, on it. I couldn't figure out why there were two memorials for the same person. Thanks for clearing that up.

I have found an additional headstone for Pvt Charles Morris Armstrong on the side of his father's headstone (Charles Joshua Morris) at the Loyal Hill Cemetery in Nova Scotia, Canada. Is there a way to list that he has this additional headstone on Findagrave.com? I'm new to this but it has helped me make so many connections. Thank you in advance!

I hope that you can settle my confusion about George Tallmon. There is your webiste that says that he is buried in Iowa (#89889747). There is another memorial (#73205954) for Lieut. George Tallmon that says that he is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose, California. The picture in your memorial shows a picture of a grave marker in at Oak Hill and says San Jose on it. Do you have any evidence that he is buried in Iowa? Thanks.
