Generally interested in genealogy. I became instantly fascinated with this site once I saw relatives graves from 100+ years ago!|
I live in Bemidji, Minnesota, but I am from Richland, Washington. I am usually in the Tri-Cities, WA area one to two times a year.
I am more than willing to transfer memorials to relatives, according to F.A.G. policies, and even beyond F.A.G. policies. If you're a relative even ten generations removed, and I'm not a relative at all, then why not let you maintain it?!
Feel free to send me any memorial updates/additions/edits through the appropriate link on specific memorials. I don't always get to them right away. Have patience.
If you would like to request a photo of a stone for a memorial, please follow the F.A.G. guidelines about Photo Requests, at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=listFaqs#55. If you want to use any photos I have taken, I hereby give permission but request that you credit me as photographer, using my first name and my Find A Grave profile URL.
My (close) family names are Hevel, Hampton, Guerrant/Guerin, Westgate, Travis, West, and Tenpenny.
Some further family names of mine (directly descended from all) are Kressin/Kresain, Heazle, Done, McCulley, Hill, VanHooser, Craft, Coon/Gohn, Strayer, Stockton, Graham, Gray, Hall, Beggs, Berger, Crantzdorf/Cransdorf, Derr/Dörr, Rodgers/Rodger/Rogie, Weidler/Widler, Davidson, Klein, Patton, Ryan, Wohlgemuth, Hoffstetter, Gutt, Reckner, Sachser, Schnewli, Clayton, Forgus, Harris, Epperson, Ireland, Morgan, Perrow/Perreau/Perrault/Perault, Thomson, Trabue/Trabuc, Renno/Regnault, Doughty, L'Orange, Vereul/Verrueil, Chibailhe, Prodon/Prodhomme, Whitehead, Witham, Andrailh/D'Andrailh, Mariette, Azam, De Marty, De Gascon, De Lambrail, Du Fay, Couillard, Hoag, Tevenin, Nepvue, Auber, Rousselin, Boucher/Bouchard/Le Boucher, Donnet, Verson, Duchesne, and possibly Robinson (connected with Witham).

Yes, my friends and I knew Claudia Hevel. Margie Baker and I continued to write one another after that summer, she moved to Flagstaff for a bit. I always thought that we should have made a movie like American Graffiti for that summer. We would go swimming at Ice Harbor dam, sneak into the Prescott pool, play football at the school. On top of the comaraderie of the whole town, Waitsburg, Dayton and the area was beautiful. 2 summers ago me and my four kids came back through Lewiston, Idaho and through Waitsburg. We saw the most beautiful sunset ever. My kids had to stop to take pictures of the sun setting over the wheat fields.
As we came through Waitsburg a flood of memories took over and I had to tell my kids about how much fun we had. Craig Smith a friend of mine who worked together got a kick out of me telling about it. He wanted to know if I looked anyone up. They probably wouldn't remember me anyway. Besides, it was late. Yep, very nice girls. Bye

Dear Melanie, I was looking up information on Carol Shively and looked up your bio, it said you went to Richland, Wash and Bemidji. What a coincidence, I grew up in Richland and spent summers in Minnesota not for far away by Hutchinson, and Wadena.
I worked the summer of 1970 with a bunch of other guys at the Green Giant cannery in Waitsburg, what a Great summer, we rented a house in town and got to know a lot of townspeople, a real warm community. There I got to know Carol Shively and Margie Baker who was also killed in the car crash. We all had a lot of fun, I also worked for a Mr. Jaquot, roguing wheat. Many, many good memories.
Those girls getting killed just broke my heart and I still think of what they could have done in the years since. I guess that's why we have to live every day to it's fullest. Neil Young is playing "Heart of Gold" (I'm growing old)
I just thought I would tell you to let you know that even when you depart early, people still have a huge impact on other people's lives and futures. I think about them from time to time and truly miss them--good friends. Love, Craig Klucas

Saw message on my E mail to delete my Find A Grave on him. No dups
allowed. So I deleted mine. Now I don'T see one at all. I didn't
know there was one. He's buried in Bejou City Cemetery, MN.
Someone said no grave headstone. Aren't Military supposed to
get on from the government?? Sorry about the dup. Tommy was
my favorite cousin, my father's sister's son. Thanks, no harm
intended. Barb McIntosh-Stott

Wanted to let you know that I just received email notification from Find A Grave letting me know that someone had fulfilled a couple of my photo requests. Don't know why they had a temporary lapse in notifying us, but I'm sure glad that they are doing it again!
