Thanks for information on Lucy's parents. I've been trying to get the Dandridge, TN branches of my family connected but it is sometimes slow going.

RE: John Willcockson
Thanks for correcting your birthdate information, Steven. The year 1720 fits with other information that I have about John. That would indicate that he was born while his family was still in Wales ... another fit.

Also, thanks for the web path, it looks very promising, but please bear with me for a while. I work full time and must squeeze these tasks into my "free" time, but I will find time to check this one out. The Boone-Willcockson-Cutbirth lines are of particular interest to us. We descend from more than one line, so it has been a very interesting search ... to say the least.

John Willcockson
Hi Steven,

Thanks for your input on John Willcockson. I appreciate your help, but the birthdate that you suggest, Sept 6, 1729 might be incorrect. John would have been only 13 years old in 1742 when Sarah (born 1724) gave birth to their first son, David. Also, in written accounts of John's association with Sarah's younger brother Daniel Boone, the frontiersman (born 1734), references are made to age differences between John and Daniel that are greater than ten years.
Do you have more information about his parents? I'm not familiar with the Ronald Wayne Boone material that you cite in your suggestion. Can it be found in Boone Society resources?
I look forward to hearing from you. Help in posting accurate and relevant information on these memorials is always welcome.

Thanks for the reminder to update his contribution.
