My wife Carol & I enjoy searching for our own relatives. Carol comes from Jasonville IN: Stockrahm, Terhune, Crabtree, Shoptaw, Pirtle, Walker, are her lines. Mine in Philadelphia, PA. McCullough, Roney, Bradley, Waters. We are eager to fill our tree and will help others as we can. Our life takes us from VT to SC during the year.|
It is exciting digging up the our pasts and leading a hand to others as they search.

|Wendy||Avery Family Cemetery|
John, have you actually been to the cemetery? I put in a photo request for the 3 Averys buried there, and whomever tried to fulfill it could not find the cemetery. They even tried the GPS data. Any suggestions? Exact directions? We might get over that way to search it out ourselves if we had more info. Thanks, Wendy

You know it didn't pop up when I initially searched the name which I thought was odd, but the memorial number took me right to it.
No, I was visiting family in Pennsylvania and spent some time snapping photos in St. Mary's and St. Gabriel's. They're family cemeteries for me, but I was snapping away because I noticed most of the Hazleton area cemeteries aren't on BillionGraves and I wanted to do a little to help others. It's an easy thing to do and the pictures go straight from the app to their website for others to transcribe. I just made sure that everything I took also had a memorial on FindAGrave. Ferdinand just happened to be one I caught...and I just noticed that Eloner was at the bottom of the same tombstone so I added it to her memorial.
Most of the tombstones were easy to read, but there were a few getting eroded quickly. It's so sad when that happens.
Either way our ancestors went to the same church at some point, but the Rownin name isn't familiar. I'm Blanchfield, Boyle, Monaghan, Brown, Barrett, McCoy, Quirk, and Lee. I hope the picture helps though!

The name isn't familiar so I'm going to have to say that I'm not related. I couldn't find a memorial with that name, but it's not a family name. I've uploaded so many photos over the past two weeks it's all a blur.
I would like to manage Ruth Ellen Sanborn Gerlach Bodreau's record. 74061754
Thank you for adding her.

Thanks, John. Yes, my grandmother Martha Hood was married to Jerra "Jerry" Dashner and I have quite a bit of information already documented plus my own memories of this wonderful couple. I miss them.
|Judith Arnn-Knight||Noah Chitwood|
I am going through correcting info I provided after looking at the dates of county formation in Tennessee. Noah Chitwood was born in Campbell County [formed 1806] TN, not Scott County [formed 1849] as I erroneously reported.

Apparently there are two Lymans: Lyman T. Mills b. 3 Oct 1823 Orange, Orange Co, VT to Jacob Mills and Polly Bugbee; Jacob was a farmer and Lyman was her 1st child; and Lyman Mills b. 20 Jun 1823 in Bradford, Orange Co, VT to David Mills and Luna. Sorting out and will get back...

|Lisa / Smallest Leaf||John Bryne = John Byrne|
Hello John -
The memorial you created for JOHN BRYNE located at
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=2153090&GRid=72033031& is spelled incorrectly. I believe his surname is BYRNE. Thanks for your attention to correcting this and thanks for all the time you've put into FindAGrave memorials.
