**PLEASE Note** |
I do this mainly for genealogy purposes and to dedicate memorials to the ones who have been lost. The information is of PUBLIC record, often found in newspapers, court reords or cemetery records. This information and memorial will be put in by someone eventually, if not by me. If I have listed a family member of yours and is not related to me and you wish a transfer, please request the transfer by clicking the edit/suggestion button to the right of the memorial. I will transfer the memorial to you and if you wish removal, then you, yourself, may go through the removal process, as it has become difficult to remove them, per Find-A-Grave's new system. Even when a duplicate is made, the removal of the duplication now has to have a reason for it and get an approval before it will be automatically removed by the service. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes, but I am not the one who makes the rules & have no control over the process.****
And now, (sticks tongue out)pppppttttthhhhh, about me:
My name is Karen Mattson-Yeoman. I am the daughter of the late Robert Stanley Mattson, buried in Hopewell Cemetery, Downingtown, Pennsylvania and Ginny Garnett Mattson Rodgers.
A sleuth at heart, I also am a proud grandma of 9 and a wife to Dana Yeoman for 31 years. He is my best friend and I have known him since I was 15 years old.
I've Been doing genealogy for 21 years, but only 17 on the computer.
Interested in names of Ogden, Yeoman, Smith, Mattson, Peterson, Garnett, Garrett, Woodward & Leary, all of Chester County, Pennsylvania, near Coatesville and Parkesburg & Lancaster areas. Also Garrett's in North & South Carolinas and Georgia. Also Peterson from Cecil County, Maryland and Chester County, Pennsylvania & the Umble families from Lancaster and Chester County, Pennsylvania.
***About MEMORIALS & TRANSFERS*****:
If you would like a memorial TRANSFERED because you are a family member, please drop me a line "EDIT" tab and then "MAKE A SUGGESTION" tab on the memorial itself, on far right corner and I will be glad to oblige, UNLESS it is one of my own family tree members. If you see a mistake in any of my transcriptions, or you have other information, such as maiden names or birth, death and marriage info, please also use the "EDIT" tab & I will correct them or transfer them, as soon as I physically can. Please do NOT use the "contact me" email link through FIND-A-GRAVE, most of it is caught in spam, so the "EDIT" tab is the best way. Please have patience, I am disabled now and do not get around here as often as I'd like.

Please be so kind as to remove the picture of my great grandfathers marker. I do not want people to think I did that. The chalk is sickening and the memorial is still in my name, so how did you do it. If within the area I wish you would stop by the cemetery and remove it. Someone, who can I report this to. there are about a 1/2 dozen markers in the Nazareth cemetery that she has chalked . These are MY people. I don't wont to report it,but it reads in the rules that NO CHALKED memorials will be allowed.

This tombstone is at Nazareth Methodist church, Barrow county, Ga. and he was my great grandfather.

Ive noticed your photo replaced my original one. And the one you added has chalk on it. Was this already on it when you got there surely you didn't do the chalk?? Please do not harm these old tombstones. Breaks my heart. Note from Find A Grave below
Gravestones should never be cleaned with anything but water and a soft brush. Slate gravestones from the Revolutionary era and Pre-revolutionary era are best left alone due to their delicate nature and tendency to erode.
Never apply bleach, ammonia, shaving cream, chalk, flour, baking soda, cornstarch, firm pressure or use anything abrasive. Do not post photos of recently chalked or shaving-creamed headstones.
Consult a professional before any attempt to clean a headstone is made. [Top

Karen, I suspected we were related somehow as I keep running into your name as I research my husband's family. Tobias Jr. is my husband's 3rd G-Grandfather. Katie

|Linda ||Photo requests at Oaklands Cemetery, West Chester|
Just wanted you to know your requests are near the top of my list for Ann Mattson and Child of. Seems like the numbers I copied out of the interment book were not the proper numbers so need to make a trip back to town.
Will hopefully get it done by the end of this month.

Karen, I certainly did not mean to be offensive to you. I am sorry for your sadness. I was very sincere asking about your health, for I read your profile. I had no idea that the Little's in Kennedy Cemetery were in your family tree. James Claude Little was my grandfather's brother. Yes I am new and I am realizing that I need to be more patient. Feel better. Thank you for replying.

Hello, Karen, I hope you are doing well. I have made so many edit requests over the past four months. It is obvious that you can not get around to everything. I want these edits done so badly. I am working on a genology project. I am going to ask for transfers on these memorials. It doesn't matter if it is just a temporary transfer. Please do this for me. Regards, Rhunae

|Annette Capps Holmes||Tabitha Yeoman memorial|
FYI I posted photo of marker for Tabitha Yeoman at Tumbling Creek Cem, Weakley Co, TN. Also have posted and in the process of posting many more names there that I see you mention in her bio.
Karen, I see on your profile page that you have been active on Find A Grave this year. I hope you will feel well enough to take care of my requests. Feel better.
