Bio Photo **PLEASE Note**
I do this mainly for genealogy purposes and to dedicate memorials to the ones who have been lost. The information is of PUBLIC record, often found in newspapers, court reords or cemetery records. This information and memorial will be put in by someone eventually, if not by me. If I have listed a family member of yours and is not related to me and you wish a transfer, please request the transfer by clicking the edit/suggestion button to the right of the memorial. I will transfer the memorial to you and if you wish removal, then you, yourself, may go through the removal process, as it has become difficult to remove them, per Find-A-Grave's new system. Even when a duplicate is made, the removal of the duplication now has to have a reason for it and get an approval before it will be automatically removed by the service. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes, but I am not the one who makes the rules & have no control over the process.****

I've Been doing genealogy for 21 years, but only 17 on the computer.

Also Garrett's in North & South Carolinas and Georgia. Also Peterson from Cecil County, Maryland and Chester County, Pennsylvania & the Umble families from Lancaster and Chester County, Pennsylvania.

***About MEMORIALS & TRANSFERS*****:
If you would like a memorial TRANSFERED because you are a family member, please drop me a line "EDIT" tab and then "MAKE A SUGGESTION" tab on the memorial itself, on far right corner and I will be glad to oblige, UNLESS it is one of my own family tree members. If you see a mistake in any of my transcriptions, or you have other information, such as maiden names or birth, death and marriage info, please also use the "EDIT" tab & I will correct them or transfer them, as soon as I physically can. Please do NOT use the "contact me" email link through FIND-A-GRAVE, most of it is caught in spam, so the "EDIT" tab is the best way. Please have patience, I am disabled now and do not get around here as often as I'd like.

Photo's
Karen, I just took some photo's in the Wahoo Church Cemetery. They show many additional dates, info, etc. on the headstones. I have sent a SAC for each. Will try to get back there and finish all of the stones.

Thank You, Theron Rogers...

Your note shows first wife as Mary A Whitlock, it should be Mary A. Massey (daughter of Wm. Massey and Nancy Ballew). I don't know Bertha's maiden name.

Karen, I did not recognize any of the surnames which you were requesting help. I have requested the transfer of three of your contributions, James Claude, Mary Lemma Orr, and Willie Mae Little. Hopefully, these aren't relatives of yours, also. I am trying to link all the Little family under one roof. Find A Grave has such a wonderful system. I would so appreciate if you could help me with my endeavor. Would you let me know if there is a problem. Rhunae Helms Cross of Pulaski Co, Ga.

Thanks for linking her to her mother.
I think if we dig deep enough we will find that we are all "cousins"!
I appreciate your time and work on FindAGrave.

Hello,

It's either a 10 or 19. The other 8s on his marker leave a clear cross-over impression. Since you have information believing his birth to be on the 18th, I'm inclined to believe it is a 9. So either of these two sources could be off by one day, not uncommon.

Harry Garrett - Goshen Friends
Hi Karen,

I just uploaded a photo of a tombstone from Goshen Friends Burial Ground that appears to satisfy your Harry Garrett request from 2009. The name on the tombstone is Harry Garrett but much of the engraving has faded away and is difficult to read. There is also a date that looks like 1817. His tombstone is below a tombstone for Susannah Garrett (difficult to read). There were no other Harry Garrett tombstones that were visible or engraved. Many of the tombstones have sunk below ground or have weathered away.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help out.

Jen
