I got started in genealogy several years ago while propping my leg and icing my ankle after an injury following Santa down the stairs one Christmas Eve.|
I was bored and even though I did not want the computer that came into my house I started playing around with it. I am self taught on the computer but do the best I can.
I want to leave information about family for my children & grandchildren.
Some surnames I am working on: Bell, Bushing, Cross, Finch, Ganss, Hickle, Keränen, Kriete, Leonard, McNeil, Metcalf, Plain, Thompson, Tulppo & Wells.
This site has been of immense help to me and whenever possible I hope to contribute information I find to it so that maybe others can locate some family information.
I have now started on a project for Stateline Cemetery, Toledo OH. It is a small cemetery with some very old grave markers. I've made several trips there photographing the stones & putting them on this site. Next I hope to obtain written records to either add the names or update what I have already entered. I am hoping this project might help someone down the line.
If I have taken a marker photo feel free to use it as you wish as long as it is not for profit. Look for sec412 to identify photos I've taken.

Sorry I don't know.
|Jennifer McKenzie||RE: Zola Florence Hickle|
I could not find anything in my database or in our old interment cards for a Zola Hickle. Monroe & Anna's daughter Goldie is buried on this same lot and we show the fourth grave as empty. I went out and looked on the markers to see if there was anything to show an infant was buried there as well, but I could not find any evidence of this.
Best of luck on this new trail and let me know if there is anything else I can help with!

let me check with Matt at the library on that and get back to you.

I was assuming you meant my 5th Gt Grandfather Lt. Henry Hare who died in 1779. I was in Hainsville last week but will not be up there again for a while. Thanks for your efforts.

I have not yet found Henry or Alita's graves for certain. I am actively working on it.

I checked the cemetery books and it only gives June's name on the list for Riverside and only Ralph on the list at Fremont Cemetery. Avrim Funeral home might have an answer for this delema.
I have both obituaries and as you said they give the places of burial . There looks to be a head stone with both names at both cemeteries. Mystery??????

Hi - I'm in interested in knowing who you are. Roger was my uncle, and the Hickles are in my ancestry. I have not been very successful at learning much about Russell (my grandfather) or his family. Russell passed away before I was born, and searching for his grave is how I got into findagrave. A half-sister of mine lives in Circleville near where many ancestors are buried.

Hi it's me again. I just checked and the DOB has not been corrected yet on Alan Chapel so I left a public message regarding it. Maybe they don't check their edits very often (hope they don't mind a public message). Just wanted to follow up on the date for you.

just put findagrave on the back burner and spend this time with him. I know it must be very hard.

Just wanted you to know I put him on the prayer list at my church several weeks ago
