Here is the write up of his daughter's Obituary from March 14th 2015 Ovada Cole Morgan Memorial# 97892942 I put a photo of Ovada on her memorial page which has this same information:
Ovada Morgan, 83, of Pineville, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Grace Home in Alexandria after eight years with Alzheimer's disease. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be sorely missed. Having always been a positive person, she continued to smile throughout her illness
Friends may call Monday, March 16, at Hixson Brothers in Pineville from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A private internment service will be held at a later date at Cole Cemetery, Centerpoint, Louisiana.
Ovada was born on December 1, 1931 in Centerpoint, the eighth of fourteen children of Valentine "Tiney" Cole, his first wife Myrtle George Cole and his second wife Effie Morgan Elliott, who he married seven years after Myrtle died. Ovada spent her childhood years in the Centerpoint area and the family later moved to various locations in Rapides and Grant Parishes. -
The Cole family was living in Colfax when Ovada met her future husband, Charles Leonard "Buster" Morgan, a U. S. Navy veteran of the Pacific Theater in World War II. They married in 1947, set up housekeeping in Pineville and started a family and ultimately had four children. Buster was called back into the Navy during the Korean Conflict and Ovada remained in Louisiana, caring for their three small sons until he was released from active duty in 1952. Ovada and Charles built a new home on Neal Drive in Pineville in 1957, shortly after their daughter Melanie was born. They lived in this home while the children grew up, attended high school and college, married and began families of their own. For a brief time they lived in Ferriday and operated their own business, Pet Handlers Supply in Vidalia, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She loved time with her family, fishing, gardening, reading, painting and cooking. Her greatest joy was in the Lord and she was always very active in her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son Randall Lee Morgan; parents Tiney and Myrtle Cole; sisters Madie Rendessy, Gladys Haas, Helen Coco and Linda Sue Melius; brothers O.D. Cole, James Cole, Clois Cole, Mack Cole, Albert Cole, Michael Cole and Thomas Cole.
Survivors include daughter, Melanie Morgan Hall; sons, James Barry Morgan (Carol) and Richard Lawrence Morgan (Maureen); daughter-in-law, Sandra Morgan; sisters, Mavis Sullivan (Robert) and Alice Tyler; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Lexington House for the wonderful care they provided our mother for the past several years. We would also like to thank the staff at Grace Home of Cabrini Hospital for their efforts to keep Mom comfortable in her final days.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made to Lexington House, Activity Fund, 16 Heyman Lane, Alexandria, LA 71303.

|Brian Porter||Shelton Stilley|
I don't know if there is a way to find his tombstone but my grandfather Shelton Stilley (James Shelton Stilley) lived in Pineville and is probably buried in Pineville or Alexandria. He was born 5 Oct 1910 and died 14 Oct 1977.
I am a volunteer in my area in Tennessee and have uploaded pics of tombstones in my area.
I cannot thank you enough for the time and trouble you have gone to at my request. My Blount family records could not have been completed without you.

You're Welcome. If I may ask, how are we related. You said you are related to Noel. His son, Glen, is my great grandfather. Try checking out the listings for Mt. Moriah cemetery in Marion County, IL. I have been adding people from there. I'm not done yet, but there are some pictures too. Rachel Hays and her son, Stephen Decatur Hays, and his son, Francis Marion Hays (Noel's dad) are all buried there. There is a Hays reunion this summer. They raise money each year to buy new headstones. Rachel and Stephen D. have nice new ones with pics.
|Stephanie||Others in Harveys Point Cemetery|
I have added a few other people from Harveys Point Cemetery. I actually went out there to take pictures of my family (the Hays). Noel and Minnie are my great great grandparents. I added memorials and pictures for Minnie's parents, Ely and Janie (Grizzel) Crothers. If you want to know who any of the others I added are, just ask.
Thank you for getting a picture of Pleasant Perkins' tombstone and posting it here! You have helped me so much! Blessings to you and your family!!!
