Re: Crawford M Tidwell
Mr. Smith, 8/17/13

I'm trying to add the photo and information about Crawford M Tidwell. I don't know how to do it when it's already listed. I have asked for photos of graves that aren't when I know where the person is buried.

So without stepping on toes, how do I get the ok to use the photo and information listed on Crawford?

A distant cousin,

Diane #47960033

James Pratt
James A Potts
Dear Crayton Smith,

My name is James Pratt. My father, who is now deceased, was in the 366th infantry during WWII. I am trying to assemble a list of men in his unit who lost their lives in Italy and locate photos for them. I have only partially succeeded in both cases. I see you have a photo of James A Potts who was in the 366th and KIA in Italy. May I use your photo of Harry M. Dorsey in my collection. So far I have 118 names (mostly from the ABMC) and 39 photos.
Also, do you have contact information for the Potts family? The village in Italy where James was killed is contemplating a memorial and would love to have more information about him.

I'd be pleased to send you a copy of what I've done so far if you would send me your mailing address.

Thanks,

James Pratt

I just wanted to tell you how greatly I appreciate your putting up the newspaper article about my uncle Cloyd on his listing. Thank you so much. I had never seen it before, and I loved the better quality of the family photo. My father won't allow anyone to touch the picture we have of Uncle Cloyd, so the quality I had was not great. Thank you so very much. It was a very kind thing you did.

Thanks for adding a photo of this young soldier. I have added photos of his nice tombstone at Mount Pisgah Cemetery at Stroud.
