Rose, good to hear from you and thanks for your reply. Thank you for posting on my dad's memorial site. I'm new to the site and finding it very interesting. God bless,

Hi Rose, my name is Toby Stamps and I noticed you posted a note to my dad Donald Stamps page a few years ago. (I'm new to this site so just now saw it.) I'm wondering if I might know who you are or if you knew my dad. I'd be glad to hear from you.

That's quite alright. I've been sidetracked myself trying to locate family members of some men in my dad's WW2 photographs.
I'll let you in on a little secret, if you have any more kinfolk in the Van Alstyne Cemetery.
If you go to that website, it has all the interments w/markers in alphabetical order. Then you just have to go through each section of the cemetery to find them. Odds are there's already a photo posted.
Findagrave's fine print precludes me from plucking a photo from another website and uploading it as if it were mine. Their photo of Eldred's marker may even be better than mine.
At any rate, I was happy to do it.

You're welcome! Glad to help. Yes ma'am, as a matter of fact I have photographed the entire cemetery. I have uploaded the other Lockhart photos to those memorials. If you need any others at HCMG just let me know. Have a wonderful evening. :)

You are more than welcome. I regret that I don't live closer to the little cemetery so I could make a project of cleaning it up and preserving the history there. It really is in pretty sad shape and I feel sure there were markers covered with grass and weeds that I did not see.
