Bio and Links
Bio Photo I research the German name Homrighausen and its various spelling variations in the US: Homrighaus, Homrighous, Homrighouse, Humrighouse, Homrig, Humrickhouse, Humrichouser, Humrichouse, Humrichous, Humerickhouse, and Houser.

If you are interested in the family and its ancestry, please contact me. I like to share information and connect family as much as possible.

If you are closer in relationship to these individuals than me, let me know and they're yours. I'm not a hoarder, just a middleman waiting to pass on my info to others.

RE: Schnucks
How did you contact them?

Usually the secretary will give you the information by phone (begrudgingly)

RE: Schnucks
If you will find out the section/lot numbers, I will go look for them.

You are very welcome. Inez was a character and was well loved by all of the residents of Logan. She was a neat lady and I remember each year at Halloween, she had a ball decorating her front porch.

At Christmas, she always had Santa Claus in a rocking chair on the front porch and the chair was always rocking. To this little boy, that was pretty amazing!

Schnucks at Westview
Hi Glenn
I saw your request for the Schnucks. That family name is big in St. Louis, my home town. They started one of the big grocery store chains there. I live in Atlanta but remember Schnucks very well. Any connection?

RE: Homrighausen family

Here is the complete list of those buried in Q308 (South half):

Gustav Homrighausen: buried 5/4/1885 at age 5 days
Pauline P. Homrighausen: 7/11/1884 @ 4m
Augusta C. Homrighausen: 6/19/1937 @ 81y/11m/16d
Gustav Homrighausen: 12/26/1923 @ 69y/10m/11d
Edward B. Homrighausen: 6/5/1934 @ 37y/1m/2d
Louis Koch: 4/4/1918 @ 88y/10m/16d
Catherine Koch: 12/1/1915 @ 86y/2m/10d

If you want to create memorials for any of these that don't already have them, I will upload the photo of the plot.

RE: Homrighausen family

You're quite welcome; it's a pleasure to assist. Thanks for the clarification on the two Gustav's. I have uploaded the photos for the younger Gustav, Paula, and Bertha. I have also deleted the photo of Gustav and Paula's marker from the elder Gustav's memorial. Next chance I get I will get a complete roster of all those buried at that location so you can create memorials as necessary and I can upload the plot photo to each.

You will notice that the plot photo shows Gustav and Paula's stone face down. It was small enough that I was able to turn it right side up for a photo. I will go back later after a couple of rains to see if it is more legible.

Incidentally, you may have noticed a memorial for a Susan Homrighausen. Someone else ("Deborah R") requested a photo for her and for her mother, Emma Courtice. I was surprised that two people would coincidentally be looking at the same time for someone in a family with a relatively unusual name. Just thought you might want to know in case they are related and in case you wanted to compare notes with her.
