I have been researching various family lines (Tallman, Cook, Peterson, Bouton, Lounsbury, Peterson to name a few) since about 2001. |
During that time I have visited many cemeteries during my research. While there if I have time I try to photograph as many stones possible and eventually I put them on Find A Grave when I have time in hopes they may help someone else with their research.
I appreciate everyone sending edits to the memorials I have entered. If you have addition information on a memorial please click edit on the page and submit a correction or addition.
If you have relatives in my listings you would like transferred to you please send me a message and as long as I don't have a strong attachment to it I will gladly transfer it to you.

Russ - thank you so very much!
|Eve Mongeau||? Transfer|
Would you be able to transfer the memorial for Josephine Staby (# 52133497) in Rensslaerville Cemetery to me? She is my paternal grandmother who died when my father was 10 years old.
Thanks to your picture, I was able to visit her grave recently for the first time.

Hi Russ. OK, I will leave my memorials up then. Many of many Rensselaerville Cemetery photos came from a visit last September. (I live near Atlanta now, so it's tough to get up there!) I still have a few to post too.
|Brent Walker||Alfred Hulbert and Susan Hulbert|
Thanks for moving them. I feel better now that they are in the right place. I just attached the grave markers for both Alfred and Susan so you can check it out if you would like.

Hi Russ- I am sending another message concerning your listings of Alfred and Susan Hulbert in Ellis Cemetery in Schoharie Co., NY. They are not in this particular Ellis Cemetery (located on Mallon Rd.in the Town of Fulton). They are actually in another Ellis Cemetery located on Broome Center Road, Town of Broome which is also listed in the Find A Grave site but which currently has no names listed in it. I am planning on adding some memorials to it based on my recent visit. I would suggest you remove Alfred and Susan from their current listing and add them to the cemetery on Broome Center Rd..
|Brent Walker||Alfred Hulbert|
I just added a photo of Alfred Hulbert's grave marker that I took when I visited the Ellis Cemetery on Broome Center/Potter Hollow Rd. a few days ago. I am concerned, however, because I did not find any of the other people that are in that Find A Grave Ellis Cemetery listing. I believe that you have placed the memorials of Alfred and Susan in the wrong cemetery. As far as I can tell there is no Ellis Cemetery listed on Find A Grave site that contains the people in the Ellis Cemetery that is on the New York, Schoharie Co. GenWeb site. I believe the best solution to the problem would be to create a new Ellis Cemetery with the names from the N.Y. GenWeb site. If you are interested in doing that I do have other photos I would be happy to add.
Going through some old emails and noticed that I did not send you a Thank you note for the transfers of Isabella and William LaPaugh. Thank you so much. Have a great day.
|Annette||Augusta Otto Troutner|
Can you please transfer Augusta Otto Troutner #52134386 to me. She is my Great Grandma Jennie Otto's sister. Still looking for her two other sister's. Thank's Russ.

Thanks for taking care of the date. I don't live near Potter Hollow, but I plan to visit the cemetery within the next year.
