RE: Photos
I am sorry but the cemetery was photographed in its entiret and all photos were posted to find-a-grave. There were no visible headstones for any one who does not already have a head stone photo at that cemetery. Sorry.

RE: Photos taken at Pleasant Grove Cemetary, Mississippi
You are quite welcome! The cemetery is less than two miles from my house. If you need any more, just let me know. Many of my family members are interred there also. My grandfather was one of the founders of the church.

Campbell Cemetery
You put in several request in the beginning of the year for this cemetery. I was wondering if you knew if it was on private property. I just dont want someone to shoot and ask questions later. LOL

This is the cemetery where you have several request.

Peace and good health,

RE: gravesite photo
Gayle, did I answer your questions? Can't remember. Anyway, the grave site of John Campbell was a Civil War Veteran (CSA: Conferdate States of America).

When I go back, I'll look for the elder John Campbell 1775-1826

Bobbie McNeil Brown
uploaded a photo for Bobbie McNeil Brown from Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork, MS. There was a date on the tombstone, but not the memorial page. If it is not the right one, please let me know.

Thank you

RE: gravesite photo

Gayle, this may be a duplicate message because I replied to the email I received from "Find A Grave".
John Campbell was a civil war veteran.

And, I think I remember seeing another John Campbell there that was older than the one I sent. I'll try to get there in the near future and look for you.

You must know that it is so so so hot here now that walking those cemeteries is excruciating!!! LOL

Anytime, Ms. Gayle! Anytime. Let me know if there are others in the area for the Pearson Cemetery was the first cemetery I ever surveyed! I'm actually kin to everyone in there!

That sounded like so much fun! I've actually heard about Uncle Brutus' rooster before so, take heart, you were not the only object of its vengence! :>)

Would you mind if I ask who Aunt Flora's immediate kin is? When I start uploading tombstone photos, I want to be sure to add her parents onto her memorial page as well. Are they buried out in Pearson Cemetery as well?

Hi there!

Yes, Uncle Brutus was my grandfather Arthur Carr's brother. He was a hoot, just like Aunt Flora.

I love Aunt Flora SOOO much and she had such a good sense of humor about life!!! I actually didn't realize she was married before until after I ran across her tombstone and looked up family records.

Do you have a street address for this cemetery...Pearson Cemetery, Carriere, Pearl River County, Mississippi? Can not find it on GPS. Thanks, Shelly
