|Judith Hunter||Small Remembrance|
After Ethel Thompson nee Kinney passed in 1985, I became interested in geneo information and Jessie Hunter, my mother-in-law, gave me some picture that belonged to Mamy (which my husband Henry called her for much of his life and still does). She kept house and ruled the kitchen while she lived here in Arlington so my in-laws could work. Jessie was an elementary school teacher and Marvin was with the Weather Service at the airport.We all loved her dearly.
In her batch of pictures, she had a pcture of Ella Mae and I set about finding her family. The picture is of Ethel and Ella who looks about 8 to 12 yearsa old. They both look at ease in each other's company. Little did I know of the teapot I was about to upset. I gather that Mr. Thompson' former wife was quite the legend and to mention Ethel Thompson and Maggie in the same sentence was cause for volital prose. So I never did get a complete picture why she left your family so soon. Anyway the grief at her departure was not completely gone. It is a sweet picture.
I have just recently moved so my main computer has not been set up yet but when it is functional I'll see what I can do.
