Michael Sarlo
Re: Michael Sarlo in Green-Wood Cem, Kings Co, NY, memorial #30504229. I believe the picture of the monument does not belong to Maicael, but to Crescenzo and Catarina Sarlo who are in the cemetery. Apparently the picture has been applied to others in the cemetery, namely: Anthony b. 1901, Charles born 1889, and William born 1895. I would like to know if there is a monument for Michael, if he is actually buried in the cemetery. I am looking for ancestors of a Michael Sarlow who lived in Texas from about 1925 until his death in Texas in 1973. Thank you! M. Perry

RE: Adam, Christina Rutherford
Adam and Christina are my great great aunt and uncle. Ida is their granddaughter. I am seeking more information on the family, and the families of their daughters Margaret and Christina.

Thanks for sending the info on her parents. Hopefully her parents are buried there as well and can be linked to her.

RE: one larger Smith marker
That would be wonderful. Can you find out the section or maybe a plot number so I can try and find out more info from the cemetery. With the last name of Smith it makes it difficult to pin ancestors down.

one larger Smith marker
Oh? Maybe it's a family plot and they were cremated and ashes were scattered there. That's where an online database would help in having the info to look up.

RE: Halsted Burial Ground
Be safe! If you by any chance see a grave for Caleb Pierce and Hannah Halstead Pierce, let me know. I'm still searching for their burial in Westchester County. Apparently my great grandmother, Isabella Pierce Pugsley spent years trying to locate them and I can understand her frustration. They were quakers and I wonder if they didn't want a stone.

RE: Pierces at Chappaqua
You've definitely been busy! If you come across Caleb Pierce and his wife Hannah Halstead, I will be overjoyed. My great grandmother never learned where they were buried. His father William Pierce is also a mystery.
