I am a mom, wife, MSW & a recreational photographer. (Graduate from the School of Social Work at USC). I think this site is a valuable tool for anyone who is searching for lost roots or is simply seeking to leave flowers or warm thoughts to a loved one who has crossed over to a new state of being. Embrace your roots and love who you are! My deepest & most sincere condolences to anyone who has lost a loved one. I still miss my "Papi," (Felipe Regalado) very much...
I just spoke with Frank at the Home of Peace Cemetery and he was able to find this gravestone. It's in Beth David Section C, Row 1, Grave 11 (there was some confusion since this used to be a separate cemetery and later merged with Home of Peace in the 70s). Would you be able to please take a photo of it next time you're at the cemetery?
Regina Fallon Thank you so much for taking this photo! Regina was only 7 when she died. My grandfathers beloved little sister. He told many stories of her over the years - so glad to find her at Holy Cross.
Applebaum grave Leti, Thank you for the photo of Harry Applebaum's grave. It was interesting to me that you pulled the Austria bit. Did you get that from the front office? Kris email@example.com
HERSHMAN family Thank you very much for taking the time & effort to photograph the graves for the HERSHMAN family. The photos you sent me were fabulous, good quality & perfectly framed. There was also the bonus of their son Lieut. Joseph N. HERSHMAN whom I didn't know anything about.
It is a great shame there isn't a similar idea operating in England as it is BRILLIANT.
I will now endeavour to find more family graves and hope that these too can be photographed.
