Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.

Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. See Find A Grave policy below:

Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

Thank you. I'll try the cemetery office again. When I visited two years ago, there wasn't a record so I was relieved to see your photo and a grave site today. I appreciate your response. Patti Kiser

Robert Timothy Aguirre
I tried to reach you to ask for a photograph of

Robert Timothy Aguirre
Holy Cross Cemetery
Plot: Section H, Row 17, Area 1, Grave 5

... but I received a prompt that a photograph has been coincidentally requested. I am uncertain if that request was directed to your attention as this is my first day to research him at Holy Cross.

Because you previously added a cemetery photo to Robert Timothy's name, I'm hoping that you might also be able to solve a family mystery. Robert's find-a-grave memorial page shows a 1888 death date. However, I'm wondering if the cemetery made an error as 1888 is the birth year for the Robert Timothy Aguirre that I am looking for. Or could it be that my Robert Timothy Aguirre had a brother with the same name; one who died in infancy in 1888?

I am hoping that a photo will be posted as I will be in the Bay Area the weekend of February 27th and would like to go to the cemetery to pay respects to him as well as his sister, Naomi Aguirre, who is at Holy Cross. Any assistance or direction is appreciated, Rich.

If you are able to help, thank you in advance.

Would you mind removing your photos from memorial 5085755? The plaque on the monument has been cleaned since you were there.

Mary Catherine Apgar
Rich:

Mary Catherine Apgar is listed as a daughter to Jacob A. & Elizabeth Apgar as you stated.

She is also listed as a daughter to John Apgar and Aletta (Hope) Apgar.

In both entries, she is listed as being married to Hezekiah Trimmer.

Interesting, huh! I have no proof other than what is listed in rootsweb.com and we all know that is not 100% correct.

Any ideas? Where did you get your info? That may help us determine who is the parents of Mary Catherine Apgar. Thanking you in advance for your help!

Nancy

William Becker
Rich,

I am requesting a change to William Becker's memorial #8546826. William was the husband of Minnie Kinzley Becker (memorial #150254907), my grandmother's sister. It has taken me some time to find and verify his memorial since he died in 1939 in New Jersey and his wife died in 1978 in Ohio - 39 years later. I will make my request through the established Find A Grave channels.

Thank you in advance!
