|History and genealogy are just my hobbies which I enjoy immensely. Collecting a variety of obits has given me the ability to help others almost instantly...for free. If you see an error or typo, please tell me - I always appreciate being corrected.|
For ALL who ask for transfers, I will transfer if you're within the Findagrave guidelines, but please include your submitter number!!!

Thanks for the links, Gene.
Am transferring the 2 Monk memorials to you so you can give them to your friend if she likes, or at the very least it may make your job easier for linking her family members.
Our weather has been a bit strange here also -- not that I am complaining. hahaha! Our winter has been uncommonly mild, and like yours, a few days of warm, then back to cold for a bit.

Years ago, you had left an obituary on this young woman's profile page.. yes, I know her father's name is William, but do you have any idea of who William Lanning's parents were? Any ideas of how I can find out more??
Email message sent to above address.

In case you were wondering, the source on those edits I have put in (mainly plot numbers) -- is the book "Our People And Where They Rest: A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1970-1985, (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) There wasn't a place for me to put that in the edit form.
Thanks for all your help! Best wishes.

Thank you so much for creating and transferring Grandma's memorial! It was a pleasure to meet you and your husband at the visitation. We'll have to chat some more when I get some more time to work on genealogy again.

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

You have that she was b. 26 July 1827, but based on her headstone, she would have been born 31 July 1826.
