Bio and Links
Bio Photo I feel like I have been doing this for a long time now. Thirteen years. Feel free to send me corrections or additions and also feel free to use photos I take or submit.

When you want to send me a message a little courtesy is nice instead of people writing rudely or demanding something. I am kind and I expect the same in return. I am just saying this as I had one woman leave some nasty messages for me that I deleted.

If you are related to a memorial I have do not be afraid to ask for a transfer if they are not related to me I am more than happy to do so.

Happy hunting everyone.

David and Rebecca Colburn
Dear Mark,

David is buried in Waterboro Hill, but as I understand it Rebecca is buried the "The Flats" Cemetery in Burlington, Otsego, NY. Her stone is a memorial to her. David moved from Otsego County to Chautauqua County in 1840/41 after Rebecca's death in 1838. They were my 4th great grandparents.

RE: Jackson Brainard # 17281451
I am a Brainerd. I would be happy to accept transfers of any Brainerd and/or Brainard. When a closer relation comes along I'll transfer to them.

Thank you,

Me again
Hi Mark,
You're probably sick of me by now, I found 3 more Crowell's today for you to consider for transfer. I'm going to request so you'll be seeing them all come through. Thanks :) RC

Wondering what you think
Hi Mark,
I read in your bio that you've been at this for some time so I bet you're more skilled at picking up on clues than I am. I was hoping you'd take a look at one of the stones on a memorial you manage and tell me what you make of it. I can't seem to untangle the coincidences and it just doesn't make sense to me, but maybe you've ran across something like it before. #37120398
Here are the facts surrounding it:
Phoebe Crowell (1837-1912)
First husband: Loren G Sartwell (1832-1897)
Second Husband: Charles H Wood (1843-1910)
All died in Arkwright. Do you think the stone was redone later and rededicated? Or it's all just a weird coincidence? Any opinions you want to share would be valued. Thanks!

RE: Info for memorial # 11661190
Awesome! I look forward to adding bios for them and linking them up the best I can. Yeah I asked about Villenova bc Find A Grave doesn't recognize it in the drop down, maybe bc it's a township? Ok, just let me know if I ever start driving you crazy asking for transfers as I find spouses and it may be many or they be your family! RC

RE: Info for memorial # 11661190
Hi Mark! Thanks for the reply! Yes, my Grandma was a Crowell and I never knew how large the family was until recently when I started my research (mostly in Forestville, Hanover and Arkwright) which btw did one of those towns used to be called Villenova? They really are all keeping me busy with how many there are!! I'd love to have ownership if you choose to transfer them. Many thanks again :) RC
