I'm an avid photographer/archivest, having taken the majority of both my and my husband's family's graves. We take (outdoor) cemetery photos from March/April to November or December/snowfall within an hour or so in all directions of N'east Wisconsin, incl: Outagamie; Winnebago; Calumet; Manitowoc; Sheboygan to the East; and in the West: Waushara, and some of Portage, if we're in that area. Mausoleum photos, of course, can be taken all year.|
NOTE to those requesting grave photos in Wisconsin: Although each year is different, we don't usually see any ground-level graves until at least April, given the weather in our area. Thanks for understanding!
Here's a poem that touches my heart. It is the reason we are in this service; for both the living and those who have gone on before us.
THE RECORDING OF A CEMETERY BY THELMA GREENE REAGAN
Today we walked where others walked On a lonely, windswept hill; Today we talked where other cried For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched By graves of tiny babies; Snatched from the arms of loving kin, In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay In the last sleep of their time; Lying under the trees and clouds - Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot; Who lies beneath this hollowed ground? Was it a babe, child, young or old? No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay. We had been here once before On a day we'd all like to forget, But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin The graves of ancestors past; To be preserved for generations hence, A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend, For stones sometimes crumble to dust And generations of folks yet to come Will be grateful for your trust.
When corresponding, please indicate the name of the person/people whose grave photo I took. Thanks! :)

|Janet Marie||RE: Waushara Co. Cemeteries|
I think I'm finished with Waushara County. I believe the only cemeteries that have not been totally done by me or other volunteers in the area are small family burial grounds located on private property.
Marr Cemetery is on Co. N between Spring Lake & Neshkoro. Is that the one you are thinking of? That one has only 13 graves and was done by someone else. I don't see one listed on Find A Grave between Spring Lake and Lohrville on Co. N.
Maple Grove Cemetery is the one on Co. YY near the White River dam. That's the first cemetery I photographed back in 2013. It's very pretty and peaceful there with the little white church across the street. I'm only about 10 minutes away from there. I usually go back in the spring to look for "new arrivals" since it's so close.
|Janet Marie||RE: Almond Cemeteries|
I didn't have time to finish all of the Almond cemeteries before winter set in. I've got three on my to-do list first thing in the spring - East German, Lone Pine, and St. John's.
|Janet Marie||RE: St James Cath. Cem., Neshkoro|
I photographed all four of the cemeteries in Neshkoro in 2013. I've been spending time this winter doing more research on the memorials I created back in 2013. I'm trying to link as many family members with their loved ones as I can until I can get back into other cemeteries in the spring to take photos.
I looked at your memorials for Albin, Phyllis, David, and Karl. They are very nice. I especially enjoyed the wonderful photographs of them.
I'm sending you a link to my mother's memorial if you're interested. I'm the baby in one of the photos.
|Janet Marie||RE: Mary Milheiser|
Mary's mother, Carol, was still alive in 2011 when her father, Gordon, died in 2011 according to his obituary.
|AZkarisma||RE: Walters Family in Menasha, WI|
THANK YOU for graciously transferring the Robert J Sr. and Mary C Walters family memorials to my care. I will keep the original memorials with pictures that you transferred to me, and add all of the information that I have about my grandparents. Now I have some more research ahead of me for the babies. Once again, thank you.

You are very welcome.

|gwtwqueenie||Deleting Your Duplicate Memorial for Teresa Halbach|
Thank you for reaching out to the creator of the first memorial for Teresa Halbach to list Teresa's cemetery on her memorial.
I too sent in an edit request to have Teresa's cemetery listed.
Happy New Year!

I found it doing a general search - not a state specific search.
I never knew about Ms. Halbach's life or her untimely, horrible death and came across it on a television program. This is what prompted me to search for her on Find A Grave which is when I found the two memorials - yours and the one created for her in 2006.
|Brian Newark||RE: George Roeske Jr|
I'm sorry, but I've looked all the area with George Sr's stone is and never found a marker for Jr's name. I found another stone with the Roeske name nearby, but still no marker for Jr's. I'm sorry.
|Brian Newark||RE: George Roeske|
I found only the stone I posted....I can go take a look again if the weather picks back up. Sorry!
